Liked the big 4 blade 100gr. Reminds me of the one Rocket used to make the 2" 4blade Hammerhead always dropped a deer inside of 50 yds when used with higher poundage bows.
Very good find. Hadn't heard of that company before. You only get a 2" entry with that head though so you need to get a passthrough to get the full 3.75" of cut. The Whitetail Extreme gives you a 3.5" on entry and exit.
Fortunately for you, you have a ton of choices this year! lol I'm a fan of the Pro Series heads. I use several different models and all have worked well for me. I shot my Ohio buck with the Carni-four this year and if you watched the hunt film, he died in less than 40 yards.
I've reused several. For turkeys I typically just clean the old one up and it's ready to go. For whitetails or other game, I'll swap blades since you'll want them to be as sharp as possible.
What's your draw length and what poundage are you shooting? It's really hard to beat the 1-3/8" cut expandable. Works great for just about any setup...even light poundage/low kinetic energy setups.
well heres my story..2 days ago killed my biggest whitetail to date..gross 188in whitetail..should clean up after 60 days mid 170's after deductions..shot the buck at last light at 18 yards..deer basically flinched and turned around to face my direction and im thinking was a clean miss..as i quickly nock a second arrow i see the deer slowly walking and clearly hurt as i was about to draw to shoot again i see that familiar helicopter tail going and he just fell over like he fainted..he went exactly the same distance as the shot..18yards and was dead..very odd and have never seen this happen before ever on a deer with a bullseye hit..was a complete passthru and this deer i guess felt basically nothing...i never shot an expandable before because thats my choice and i never liked the fact with expandables on a marginal hit..thats what always worried me..a bullseye hit probably a field point could kill a deer but friends begged me to try the grim reaper head they all shoot and gave me 2 to try and i said fine i will shoot a doe first to see but my doe wound up being a booner buck so i think i will be buying a few pacs even if its for luck..thnx grim reaper..oh yeah the head was a 3 blade 100gr..i dont even know the model..
Awesome. Loving all the ATA show vids

I been making the whitetail extreme since the carnifour came out. Glad to see I won't have to keep buying parts and kits to make them.
Never had a failure, love em, 1.75.
Looks like another great year for grim reaper for 2019. Awesome heads for sure. All I shoot are grim reapers or spitfires.
How do you think the GR 1 3/8 #1903 100 grain would do on elk?
477 grain arrow at 317 FPS.
I do. The swat xbow mag has a 2” cut on impact and additional 1.75” cut that deploys while inside the animal...rage meets swhacker.

Great heads never had one fail
A lot of wicked looking heads here!
For sure! Can't wait to get our hands on them!
@@Selfilmed I've honestly never tried GR before. I have no idea which one I'd want to try.

@@Selfilmed that's awesome. How well do the heads hold up? Are they reusable?

Can’t wait to try the Mini Mag out!
We can't either!
How many employees do you think use grim reaper broad heads but work for the competitors?
LOL, probably a fair amount!
Every deer I have shot here in Illinois with the mechanical broadheads I have seen or heard my deer fall. 280 pound buck? YUP
I'm shooting the hybrids on my crossbow I'm stuck between the hades or the 1/38 cut for my coumpound whick one would u go with

I would say the 1-3/8" would be what I'd go with. Best of luck to you this fall!
When do these go on sale?
