Started putting mine up yesterday. The frame was a breeze with a drill on low setting. The roof panels are driving me insane though. This part could have been better designed. Perhaps indentations on the panels for the clips to grab on to.
The installataion went ok, I was using this video and the instructiona manual. I have it up 10 months now and no problems. No leaks in the roof etc. The roof was the slowest and I needed a hand with that. Well worth the money.@@REI-20244
The roof panels we received were different from what this video shows. Our end top pieces were two parts, not one solid piece. We had 4 side top panels, not just two, which makes it very difficult without 2 people. Don't even get me started on the Z clips! 🤬 Seems like a better solution is out there somewhere without the double sided tape. Overall, this gazebo is a quality product and the service center was very helpful for missing parts which can happen from time to time.
I wish mine was as simple as this. Putting the final roof panels on is so difficult. The ones I have, have little plastic tabs that keep slipping off every time you slide it into the corner pieces.
I’m struggling with the roof also but I took the directions too literal and started in the corner working counter clockwise. Seeing this and starting in the middle of each side is a game changer for my frustrations. Can’t wait for the sun to go down a bit so I can give it a shot.
I am a professional installer and this step is very important. Also, for many of the steps, don't tighten any of the screws in that step until all of them are started.
This video is dated. Not done yet, but worst part was the top little roof. We bagged the little useless clips, attached them to end cap on the ground and held together with 4 pieces of painters tape. Worked like a charm. Rest of roof is just tedious and you pick up a lot of little tips. Ours is going up in a tight space so all the panels are going up from the inside except for the last two open sides. Quality seems really good, but directions are just drawings and take some trial and error.
I do it with a helper and charge about $500. This takes me around 3.5-4 hours with an assistant. You won't get anywhere near that fast of a time the first time you do it.
This is bs… The version I have has 2 separate panels for the upper roof, and the plastic clips from hell Those things are worthless, and must have been designed by the engineer that thought puttin hydrogen in a blimp was a goo idea Have you ever tried to manage TWO panels and those clips at the same time? It took me 4 ours TODAY to build the upper roof, after have in th fight with those clips. I had to end up drilling a hole into the panel at the clip, and inserting a small sheet metal screw to hold this clips in place. Base on that issue I would never recommend this unit to anyone

The hooks in the roof are behind the wire mesh!!!!!.
Great video, awaiting delivery of my one. Thanks .
How was your installation? I’m waiting for my delivery this week.

Waiting for mine to be delivered! Can't wait.

Installed one alone, it took around 12 hours, definitely a helping and will half the time.

I put glue on plastic tabs and they didn't fall off. Try that!
@@Valenzj-yl6kb I ended up using little strips of tape to hold it in place....finally all up and looks amazing.
I hear ya. Those clips are a pain

My roof panels are too large, they won't fit the frame.
It is not as easy as it looks, actually a pain.
Just got mine delivered today. I am not looking forward to putting it together!
Truer words have never been said.
I will be putting mine up today after watching this great video i will keep you updated
How'd it go?
@@soxrule74he’s probably still working on it 😂
@berad3574 Hilarious!!! I just put mine up. Took 2 days! It is a nice product though.
You left out a very important step! Make sure it is squared before attempting the roof installation!

Believe me, I have been installing these professionally for many years and like I said, you missed a very important step!
This does look very easy to put together. Wondering if it is as strong to hold up to strong Florida winds and rain? I'm interested in getting one.
Not easy at all. The pieces and holes for the screws don't line up
Does removing either of the middle posts hinder the support of the structure at all?
Thank this video was quite helpful.
What size alan wrench is used? I want to use my electric screw driver.
Put the clips on and put a hot glue bead on the top and bottom of each roof clip, right where the plasic meets the metal.
Use an impact or drill in the low setting you will save hours !!
What kind and size of bits did you use?
