You should raise the height of those racks so that the people taking shelter in the bunker can place their gear under the bottom bed. Plus it would be a lot easier to get into and out of it. Add a couple of steps to get into the top bed. They probably will not have power most of the time so several places to hold chem lights would be good.
Hey Ron what is really needed is some sort of central weather station, something wired and in one unit that will allow the occupants to know wind, weather, oxygen, air pollution and radiation. That way, they know when it is safe or a good time to exit.
As someone that was in the military I'm going to point out a few things. The heat source is on one side making one side smoldering hot and the far side cold. Any air in or out system needs to have bent/drain pipe so that a grenade/flamables cannot be dropped down a pipe and kill everyone. There needs to be a carbon monoxide detector or three so no one dies of asphyxiation from the wood burning stove. The door should have a peek and or firing port. One dude snoring will keep everyone up there is no sound-dampening material. Sleeping on the lower bunk is going to suck. There is no place for gear or storage racks. The door is flimsy as well as the protection around it. There is no place for water/mud to be drained/pool away from the bottom, there is no sump pump. There needs to be an air circulation system besides the NBC system. not only to move air but to keep the interior dry. There should be an airlock doorway to better protect the occupants. There should be a design where there is a second way out and or connectors to other bunkers (modular) A arched top would support more weight and also add more storage room. Granted what is shown is better than nothing and better than a tent.
The alternative is a shipping container for the men or stay outside in 20 below zero cold this winter
@@AtlasSurvivalShelters I am not at all impressed by this responce when there are points he makes that could get people killed, with a cheap solution to fix it.
@@p0xustake it up with the military then, this is to their provided spec. Tanks don’t have showers either…
@@____________________________.x and the carbon monoxide sensor because of the fire? Do tanks have fires in them typically?
Some people will never be happy… it’s a lot better than a wet hole in the ground.
Great work from our Polish friends 🇵🇱! The Borderguards have a tough job to do. Nice video Ron❤
Borderguards detaining Ukranian from fleeing, GET BACK TO THE FRONT LINE TIME TO DIE
Meanwhile illegals are pouring into the US after they sent all that money to Ukraine Joe Biden is a joke and needs to be locked up
everyone needs one!
Wishing you all the best!
AWESOME Ron your people do great work. God Bless
Good concepts there. But I would suggest that your company studies the WW1 german bunkers on the second or third defensive lines of their fortifications; then start to make near copies of them. Speaking of which, check their concrete formulas for their "Flak Towers" during the Second World war, they are extremely tough and durable! Best of luck!
You should put hand rails on the ladder so they can lean their body away from the ladder easily so their gear won't get stuck on the way down or up. It will make for a quicker motion up and down the ladder. To those who were in the military and had to use ladders in full kit. It can get dicey keeping ur gear from getting hung up in the rungs. Also to add to that put some kind of not slip material on the hand rails to allow as much friction as possible. Gloves and hands are gonna get wet and muddy.
Wow Ron. Amazing work.
Thank you for the video Ron.
Coverd bt the trunks of 🌳 🌲 🌴 Genius!!!😊
Great stuff as always Ron!
Hello Ron. Ted from San Antonio. I definitely enjoyed checking out your videos Man. You build good quality stuff. Stay safe
Love your videos... Well Done...
I dont know if you'll see this but keep up the good work Ron, I know it cant be easy dealing with the hordes of state run trolls, bots and especially the friends and acquaintances on your side who have fallen for the lies and the gaslighting, but your bunkers are saving lives and protecting the freedoms that too many people take for granted. Stay strong Ron, you're as much as a hero as the troops who get to return to their families thanks to your work.
Hmm. Sounds like a nice contract. Congrats 👏
Awesome job bud. Keep up the amazing work!
Very cool Ron, keep up the good work!
Nice! But from my infantry time you might want to have a good old fashioned New England "Mud Room" at the entrance.
On board our sub those racks would be stacked 3 high. The bottom rack was around 5 inches off the floor. I had no problem getting in and out of it but I was much younger back then. The racks also had curtains around them for privacy and didn't fold up.
Supporting the war effort.....
GOD Bless you Ron
Interesting , Thank You . Looks like a fine Starting point
Very well made, nice bunker!
You should consider designing a dedicated mess hall bunker, as well as a bathroom bunker. They could be slotted into existing trench networks just like your current bedroom bunkers, massively increasing the safty, health, and comfort of the troops in the trench line.
Basically, it would solve many of the glaring issues left over from WW1 and WW2 trench and bunker designs, avoiding the many casualties they caused.
Hello Ron good morning 🌞🌄 I'm watching here from 🇵🇭
Keep up the good work 👏
The only thing missing is communications. Make provisions for cable/coax passes as comms in these will be vital.
Atlas Survival Shelters is KING!! The best in the world!!
Good job man keeping the company going long after your gone
Nice, hopefully we can buy in the U.S.!
super Bunkers Ron 😁
Red light when door opens would be good also.
Love you’re videos! From Australia! 👌
Good on ya mate 😀
super simple. really like that
I know it's no fault of Atlas as Ron does everything possible to keep the cost as low as possible and profits to a minimum but being an average American citizen even making over $100k per/year, these really are out of price range.
I would love to live in a bunker be it 100% concrete but I doubt banks are willing to loan $400-500k+ for something they wouldn't be able to turn around and sell if anything happened. So until something in the world changes or supplies drop to nothing in price, they will always be a luxury I'll never have.
But for others in upper tier of society and have maybe inheritance or something and looking for bunkers, Atlas is the way to go.
As I recall, his concrete models are ~20,000-30,000 range, less than most new cars.
@@STB-jh7od average new car price is approaching 50,000, it all depends on what you want. If you want to live in a bunker instead of a house and have the same level of amenities it's going to be extremely expensive but I'm willing to guess that the overwhelming majority of bunkers owners are hoping to spend as little time in them as possible.
Heck yeah Ron…!
Atlas I know your company lone time, your company is the best!
Sir, if I had the money I’d buy one of your bunkers. I’ve got the land just not what I need to afford on of those wonderful bunkers you build.
Fortunately the individuals in power who continue to descend the world into madness will have one of these wonderful bunkers to flee to….they can afford it thanks to the generous taxes paid by the rest of us. It’ll be ok. Our amazing national defense plan in the US now consists of “going inside and staying put” in the event of a 50 mt fireworks display. Real life saving cutting edge measures that make the practice of duck and covering and public fallout shelters obsolete. This whole time we had it all wrong. The walls of a rickety home were all we needed.
Wish there was a price list
amazing
During a war with Russia, I would call that a metal coffin.
If these morons send us into nuclear war….these are going to be treasure chests on everyone’s shitlist whether or not the occupants have deceased. No bunker is 100% protection if it’s enough people full of righteous indignation who have the means to find and compromise the escape exit.
yep and he needs to hurry by the end of the year ukraine wil be bankrupt
us australians just burry some shipping containers in a hillside and use that as a bunker. basic, but it works
You have blast gates to stop overpressurisation during an explosion but what about for the wood stove flue in the ceiling?
Its a nice looking prototype mind
Just wondering is the American tax payer going to have to pay for that too .
Take A Guess! You Will Be Right!
@@JosephDeLuna-yj8vg
Ask yourself this.
Should we be agaisnt helping the innocent civilians and heroic defenders.
Or should we be against the mismanagement and corruption of political forces.
O yeah, next tax season will be amazing. 😂
Does a bear crap in the woods? Do liberals love their masks. Yes we will pay for it will money we don't have. Don't worry the collapse is intentional and we are all going to get our cbdc. Then they can tell us what we can and can't buy. 😊
@@JTL1776I mean, you can be for both 😅
Hey Ron, you guys might want to consider SolArk Solar Charger Inverter. They are MilSpec EMP hardened. 2:54
You can cover ANY piece of electronics in grounded metal box and it will be EMP proof pretty much
Nice !very nice !
Smartest part is the door opening in. If it opened out could easily be obstructed trapping occupants
Amazing! Excellent use of space and resources.
That's the style you should be pushing in the US. Basic and i assume affordable. Its a similar style to ones my dad sold in yhr 70s all over the East coast. I was born in 80 so sadly i missed them.
Look towards adding a work surface/desk and water storage capability.
That's a good idea for the soldiers. But as a former soldier, I miss rifle racks and holders or compartments for the men's rucksacks. I would improve that. And keep up the good work.
ps:One more thing, the external well with the two pins. are dangerous.
Once I've won the big court cases and the compensation that'll come with the win I'm definitely going you a yell Ron, you'll have to bring some of your employees aswell because I don't want anyone in Australia to know where anything is especially police or any other government agency having had a "state sanctioned murder attempted against
myself!
Have a ripper mate!
stay safe brother
You should design an turret for observation/cover fire to protect the entrance/exit. It would also allow a sentry to keep warm on guard duty and reduce claustrophobia and cabin fever.
A downside of that is soldiers become very reluctant to leave safety/strong positions to carry out patrols, counterattacks but if you market this to civilians, thats less of an issue.
Germans in WW2 use to stick obsolete tank turrets on top of bunkers.
Hey Ron I was thinking about that overpressure blast valve dome I know it's made to deform into the receiver dome part of the valve. My question is have you thought about how to release it once it does that. Having been a mechanic for 15 yrs it just struck me you may want a 3lb hammer in there to hit the handle back out. I could be wrong but might be a good thing to test in a video.
It has an internal spring
Re
What good is the filter if they're running a wood stove?
They might get gassed by enemy weapons coming through the stove pipe or the chance the stove produces smoke or carbon monoxide.
Curious to know how a bunker can be sealed up against chemical and nuclear attack while having a wood burning stove inside. Also any bunker can be defeated by simply taping a plastic bag over the air intake or exhaust ports. A couple grenades dropped down the chimney would be interesting for the occupants.
If the air system is running the over pressure will keep air out
Wouldn't the flue of the wood stove compromise the over pressure blast valve and NBC system?
What’s the ventilation procedure using wood-burning stove in a bunker?
Imagine how much better fighters they will be if they can get an actual good nights sleep. This is awesome.
If the heroic Ukrainians get a good night's sleep, they can fight the evil Russians better, and win and save democracy and have the freedom to have their children turned into nonbinary, queer, antifascist, tran. sgenders! And then their children can help pay BIPOC their reparations!
And Ukraine will know exactly where it is and put a shell through the roof.
Ron which government put out the Tender? If the US is now paying for bunkers in Ukraine what's next ground troops?
I'd like to see that wood stove in use I'm not so sure about that one
very very interested in the engineering challenges around a fireplace in a fallout shelter
Good for you! Though I love the fact that you're getting the contracts, I'm kinda annoyed that us as Taxpayers have to pay for it all (for the benefit of someone else). I wish WE could get this stuff for our own use. But it's not your fault and thank you for giving us the cool video. Love your products!
Think of it as a "test", they gonna have that bunkers in full on war situation so they can lear what works and how to improve it 👍
.. and in case of fail US citizens wont be the one paying ultimate price 😐 better lose $ than life
Call the Ukrainian embassy and they'll let you use the military equipment on the battlefield yourself.
I sent a coworker to your company. He did purchase one.
No discounts.
in Ukraine we would need bunkers like this, but above all a little smaller, half the original bunker but with lifting hooks to be able to move them when they change positions that during excavation between trenches an excavation can be made to insert this and cover it with earth, then move it with crane in case of a change in the defense line, sleeping safely near the front avoids many trips with cars targeted by drones. even in the second line, you can stay after shift waiting for the next day when you have to return to the station and in case of problems you would have men sleeping warm and safe but close by to be able to quickly reinforce in case.
So you're now an international arms dealer? Lord of War, eh?
He’s a salesman. How much was his soul worth?
Hi, wood stove will smoke and reveal position. Would a cheapie Chinese diesel heater be better? (Burns < 1L/24hrs)
Insulation?
Cheers
It’s a guard station. I’m sure they know that or would not have designed it this way. We have to follow their guidelines so this is not our concept but the governments
@@AtlasSurvivalShelters No worries then. Cheers
Well,
Can we get it with electric door locks instead of a key entry? I'm always losing things when artillery is coming my way.
Thanks...
Does Atlas still offer the round culvert shelters? I no longer see them on the website?
Yes
@@AtlasSurvivalShelters Gotcha! Thank you! i just wasnt sure cause i didnt see them on the site.
be careful not to get tied up with evil! don't supply the devils.
It is missing a munitions trunk, since soldiers will be in it.
Is there a toilet bucket, and a camping stove, and potable water storage?
Most of these trenches you see flooding. How are you going to deal with that from getting in the bunker.
these could be brought up my narrow tree lined driveway. two, linked end to end , food in one ppl in other
I love your contents, can I get a comment heart?
You guys are geniuses. That is so cool!
Move the stove onto the middle wall share the heat
Where are the bathrooms?
Free bucket. This is the military
Very cool. Would be nice to live in something like that instead of an apartment.
Hey Ron question here how would you design other defenses bunkers if they asked you to??
With steel.
Wow Philippines 🙏🇵🇭
CO monitors are needed with that wood burning stove.
Surely the FJB administration is not going to allow that wood burning stove? What about the carbon footprint?
You might think of a way for the Ukrainians to have an antenna port to use the Starlink and fly drones from inside. Also maybe place the stove in the middle of the shelter rather than at the end? Just a thought. Looks great, thanks for supporting the effort. One last thing, looking at some of the craters the weaponry is making you might want to go a bit deeper than 1 meter.
Down here in Houston, Texas how do we keep the bunker from floating out of the ground?
Fill it with water, like a septic tank! You're welcome.
How will you keep it from flooding
You do this in Australia too?
How much and is it bulletproof or rocket proof
Seems kije wokd stovevshould be moved.2 bunks would cook and blanjets that close would be a fire danger. Id move it across room to center
I didn't know that WW2 would become so high-tech
you mean WW3 right?
woodstove is at the wrong site the guys in the bed next to it will melkt its better to place it next to the airinfiltrationun it 2 feet from it. more central then
those wood be good for boorder wotching stashons
That’s all they are for is guards. It would be to easy a target in real fighting
Just more of my money going to Ukraine. America first.
This is a good contract for each of you. Good job guy's 👏 ❤
🎉🎉🎉
Sorta sad that they did not want a Decom area and Bathroom Facilities and Electric Heat and Food area!!!!
It’s to just give them some minimal shelter in the winter
are these underground shelters allowed to be done in New Zealand
How many watts of solar panels does it take to run this?
2:54 four panels
