I found my first Winter Chanterelles today! Your videos helped a lot. I didn't even see them at first, sat down to have a rest and noticed them all around me!
In Denmark we call them "Tragtkantareller" or funnel chanterelle in English since it always have a dark funnel/hole in the middle when looking down on it from the top. I think everyone should add that trait as the first identifier since it is easy to do when walking around. Thanks for the good videos!
Amazing I just got in from mushroom hunting and I found my first yellow legs here in New Hampshire, USA. The date is the 5th of October, 2018. Same day of the year as your video.
@wildfood UK, are the stems always yellow, or do they get darker when dry/old? Found one they looked identical, but there was only 1, and the stem wasn't yellow.
Hello Milo identified 4 amanita citrinas cooked them in butter pepper and salt. Noticed they were giving off a bitter flavour can I ask do you eat them?

The way this camera moves makes me dizzy and nausious. Please consider cutting instead.
Sorry Christa, we're going to learn how to edit soon..
Yes annoying camera movement. Focus on the mushroom. Zoom in and leave it on it so we can see it.
