My dad and my older sisters lived in a haunted house in TX. The neighbor said there was paranormal activity in that house. He said every tenant who leased that house broke their lease because they experienced paranormal activity. My dad and sister didn't experience.
I live in Fort Worth! It 41 minutes from Dallas! Yes fort worth is more Hick vill and country type! Dallas has a lot of country and western clubs unless you go downtown deep Ellem! Texas is very well known as a country state!!! Depending on where you live in Dallas there is a country vibe area lol! I worked in flower mount before🤦♀️ way too high class!!
I am going to be going down to the Fort Worth/Dallas area for an internship this summer for 10 weeks. I am not sure where I plan on staying at since I am going to be able to drive. So I have been looking in both cities. So I loved seeing this video. I did find it funny that you had to explain that the two cities are different. I originally come from MN with the Twin Cities. Which has the same issue. Minneapolis and St. Paul are two different cities that just ended up running into each other.
I live in uptown and barely hit traffic.. if you live in uptown, everything you need is on this side. I notice once I cross to downtown, I am sitting in traffic. I also believe it depends what part of 75. Your on. A normal person in the city who lives and works is not needing a highway. But traffic on the 75. Will last about an hourish, once everyone goes home from work it’s open. You have to think people are using the highway to commute in and out of the city. Those people aren’t staying, once they leave between 4-6. Or 7-8am it’s fairly open… I used to work in infrastructure and Dallas is like a 6/10 when it comes to traffic compared to most cities. Just learn the side of the highway you live can have a major difference. I moved up a 1mile from my old place and it adds on 10-15mins for me because I hit lights the whole way. Food for thought :)
San Jose is like that too. Highway traffic is like an hour long between 3 to 5pm because everyone is coming home from work at that time or 9 to 11am in the morning. The West side is where all the suburban communities live and they don't have to worry about traffic because they don't need to use the highways for work
@JennarallyOutside where in Nashville? I lived in the Music Row/ Gulch area most of the time. Uptown and victory park definitely have a similar kind of vibe.
I was born and raised in Burleson, TX. I’m sure you know where that is lol, like 20 minutes away from Ft Worth and about an hour from Dallas. I personally, DESPISE Dallas and the Dallas traffic. It’s definitely big city type folk that live there and it’s a much more modern city than a lot of those surrounding it. A lot of sketchy stuff happens there and growing up I hated going to Downtown Dallas because I was always scared I was going to get kidnapped or held up lol. Although, the food placesss🤌🏼 I live in Stephenville though, so it’s a totallyyy different vibe than DFW. It just isn’t my taste, personally lol
You can find very cheap apartments aside from the ones she showed! some of them start at $900+ :) Also Madi, I'm going to dallas in april, any recommendations for places to eat at, things to do, etc. that aren't crazy expensive?!?! Or must sees? I'm not staying for that long unfortunately.
Cheaper apartments are usually in the worst part of Dallas and not the safest. How ever things to do. The dallas zoo is fun, Arboretum is fun, We have Klyde park which is where you can find food trucks etc. Eddie Vs is a good place eat in the bar and during happy hour. Pecan Lodge a great place for barbecue we had that served at my wedding.
@@planningwithjordan9754 that’s true but $1700 is insane for the normal person. Thank you for the recs though I’ll definitely check out the food trucks for sure!!
Lived in Chicago...used to ask my hubby...Do they have ppl to just drive around the streets all day and night? He laughed 😅 And now we live in Arizona and yes Traffic is horrible 😮until a certain time at night!
There a lot of people thinking we all cowboys or cowgirls you have visit Texas to know we all not like that and I like Fort Worth more but I like Dallas to
You forgot to talk about the gun culture in Dallas. I just recently moved from California to Dallas and my cousin (who moved a few years before me) was warning me to be careful who you disrespect in Dallas because unlike in California open carry is legal in Texas so if you wrong someone be prepared to pay for it with your life 🥶
@@Princessofpolitics well you don't have to worry about that stuff because usually it gets down when a man provokes another man's pride. Especially since most guys can't fight
From Fort Worth! Never go to Dallas...traffic is awful and Ft Worth has all I need!
Hahah valid
Thank you for this video. My bf and I are thinking about moving to Dallas or fortworth area. This was helpful!
Do U need three times the rent in Dallas before moving into a apartment??

@9:40 just read the old reviews on Drakestone and people say it was a dump few years ago, hopefully better now

I ❤ these kinds of videos. My dad used to live in Texas and he said back then you could lease a 4 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom for $1600.

Ooh I like this! You’re keeping it real as far as reviews and neighborhood are concerned! I’m moving down there soon so this is very helpful!
If you need any help, I’m a locator and can help you find a spot! It’s free:)) forms.gle/4J7VDw3J5ywHb7vn9

Loved this very fun and informative video. I love seeing the inside of apartments 😅 Also the intro and outro was great!❤
Ahhh so glad you liked it!!!
Grew up in TN and lived in Nashville before moving to the victory park area of Dallas few months ago. It's nice.
Ooh let me look at that area I am about to relocate from Nashville

Are you posting videos different times and days now? I remember you post videos on Mondays at 5 o’clock central time.
I think she doesn’t have a schedule and just posts whenever she feels like it

If I lived in any big city it would be NYC. I hope you enjoy Dallas but it’s not for me.
NYC is fun!
