I’m 22 with no child... and not even sure I want a baby! But I still watch all your videos because I find them so interesting and I find your voice so relaxing while I’m getting ready! x

If it’s not too intrusive, I’d love to see a video all about the lovely Grayson - how’s he’s adjusting to being a big brother, how you are finding balancing your time, how you’re handling any jealousy or tantrums he might be feeling and so on - he’s such a sweet kid! 💛

I have 2 children, now 2 and 4 years, both girls and both total opposites. When my 2nd was born it was like I was a parent for the first time ever, she was an excellent feeder but a terrible sleeper. You can’t have it all (the perfect baby) but just try your best, try different things and learn what works for each child. Being a parent is the hardest job of all but definitely the most rewarding. :)

You’re simple glowing, Hannah. I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and your videos help and encourage me so much as a new mother with absolutely no idea what to expect. Thank you for sharing little bits of your life with us, I hope I will look as good as you do after having Rufus, with my own. Fingers crossed!

Hey Hannah! I am 19 weeks pregnant and just want to let you know I'm loving your baby/pregnancy videos :) It's really nice to hear your story and get advice, especially since you are on baby number 2 now, and have had pretty different experiences with both Gracie and Roo!

A suggestion my mum used in the sleep regression phase (she's had four kids, two grandkids and is widely known as Mary Poppins)... for some of those night feeds, if he takes a bottle, give him a bit of water. Apparently we soon learnt it wasn't worth waking up just for some water! And we were getting everything we needed nutrition wise in the day. But obviously your family, your decisions so feel free to ignore and find your own rhythm x

rachelsophiexoxo Doctors actually don't recommend giving babies water now. I don't want to knock your advice but I just want to make people aware so that they do their own research into it!

    • @rachelsophiexoxo
      @rachelsophiexoxo 6 років тому +2

No worries! I know they say very young babies that are fully breastfed don't need it but they say you can introduce it once they start weaning a little. And obviously it would need to be sterile, boiled and cooled for babes under 6 months, but after 6 months it should be all good. Obviously they are getting all their hydration and nutrients from their breastmilk but sometimes it's a habit or comfort thing during the night. I work in Obstetrics and double checked with my consultant today before replying just to make sure. But of course it's a matter of personal choice and research is always recommended! :)

Thank you for always being so open and honest about things especially when it comes to mental health issues. I feel like you’re totally describing me when you describe yourself and your mental state at certain stages in pregnancy and after birth. I feel like I could literally have the worst case of Mum guilt known to man, nothing I can do will ever be good enough for my boy but that’s something I know I need to work on. And when we were trying to get pregnant, every negative test bought me one step closer to insanity as I became more and more obsessed with it. I’m so glad that motherhood has been kinder to you second time round though and you look so well in yourself 😘😘

Ooh I'm only a few minutes in and I'm loving this video and so excited about the placenta encapsulation!! If we decide to try again for a third baby i would love to learn more about that as an option because with my last pregnancy I suffered from post partum depression pretty badly.

All mine napped in their prams in the day time. They seemed to only sleep in their cots at night time. I didn’t mind as it made the school runs/going out easier as there was no transferring them (we walk everywhere) x

I’m one of those lucky moms whose baby slept through the night in her own room at 6 months, took a bottle with no problem while still nursing, didn’t feel mom guilt while taking time for myself, among other things. Even with all that I still find parenting to be incredibly difficult (but of course so so so rewarding). I have nothing but awe and respect for moms who go/have gone through more baby hurdles than I have ❤️

I have a question related to your breastfeeding video. You mentioned pumping, but then that Rufus will not take a bottle. Did he take a bottle as a newborn and stop? Or did you stop offering a bottle and now wish you hadn’t? Planning a family and wondering the best way to manage some flexibility with feeds.

Hello Hannah! I just wanted to say that I love your videos, I'm 22 and have a nearly 4 month old baby girl, after her last set of injections I'm going to try her in a routine, I'm aware that it will take a while for her to get into (my job is to work with preschool children) but I'm a bit nervous about her getting into it, wondered if you have any advise or if it will just happen naturally? She currently goes down at about 10pm but sleeps through until 9am xx

Hey Hannah, I have another question, not really post-partum related, but maybe it is sort of? So, in the vlogs you said that Grayson is going through an anti-mum-phase. Do you think it's because is jealous of Rufus? How is their relationship in general?
You look very pretty and glowy ❤

Yes where is your jumper from it’s such a beautiful colour, especially on you. My baby was similar to yours with not napping in the cot but it sort of naturally starting happening at about 7 or 8 months which made things a lot easier. Also you said you spent four days in bed but I live in china now and that is nothing compared to the women here, they call the first month after giving birth “Zuo yuezi” and they stay in bed for literally the whole month and don’t do anything so they think I’m mental for going out the day after my son was born etc.

I think you look great! I lost so much weight from breastfeeding. In fact, I am still (13 months PP) LIGHTER than i was pre-pregnancy as a result of breastfeeding. I know its not the same for everyone and some find the opposite but theres a lot to be said for a small human sucking hundreds of calories out of you every day! x

You are a force!! Absolutely beautiful and incredibly strong all in one. I have suffered a bit of a crap year in 2017 on the baby front so trying to stay positive for our chances of 2018! I keep seeing this pop up on my feed as I have been more and more zoned in on all things baby and I was wondering if you guys had ever researched this item or known anyone that has tried it? If so what were your thoughts or if not would you consider it? Anyway I really enjoy keeping up with you and your family over the years all the way from SoCal!! olga998123 nope! I am expecting my 4th child atm so feel pretty equipped to correct you on this. I’ve let all my babies fall asleep on me, I’ve spoiled them all for love and cuddles...I now have 3 happy and confident children who sleep perfectly well!

Erm no. Babies cannot be held, cuddled or breast fed too much. I didn’t think anyone actually believes the ‘don’t spoil the baby’ crap anymore.
