Okay, these may not be the original songs or the most amazing covers in the world, but they did a damn good job doing the best they could to give us an amazing experience.
It's amazing how close they were able to match the original recordings when I was a kid I thought they were the original songs LOL then as I got older I noticed it said as made famous by when the song would appear on the screen and I googled it and figured out they were not the Master Tracks
I remember back in the day I wasn’t so interested in behind-the-scenes now I’m more interested in it because I’ve been playing guitar for six years and this is amazing
2:28 always hated how they over palm muted Alot of the stuff and it sounds like they play strictly on clean Amps and dosnt have the real power behind it
@@Tysandifer I mean I think Wavegroup probably didn’t want a lot of stuff to sound exactly like the covers so to avoid confusion to the real track or something
I mean it does make sense because the concept was that your band in the game was a cover band, but some of the vocal cover tracks left a lot to be desired. Laid to rest for example in guitar hero 2 had pretty trash guttural vocals compared to the original lamb of god version lol

Yeah they did it was a really great effort

These guys produced my childhood lol
1:31 2:22 2:32 Without you realizing, Scott Dugdale is very multitalented in making music for this Guitar Hero
Oh yeah definitely
I honestly prefer some of the wave group cover over the real thing. Killing in the name is good, but the gh2 version is way more meaty
...
Killing in the name
Lol

I mean, it’s a cover
@@Mexican_Spongebob841 And your point? I play covers and the last thing I'm gonna do is play a heavy metal song with weak butt distortion

What's the difference between this and the PS2 version?
This version has some extended scenes from the PS2 version and has clips of recordings from the Exclusive songs for 360
Funny this making of it's different from ps2 version
Yeah I find it odd a bit myself but it includes more stuff like the part of the Trooper and some more 360 exclusive songs
What song is that @4:11
Trippin on a hole in a paper heart
As made famous my Stone temple pilots
what song is 1:18
Mother
what...? So all songs of GH1 and 2 are wavegroup covers? childhood ruined
All of the songs in GH1 except the bonus songs are covers while GH2 had some masters like stop! and dead and again the bonus songs are masters
Yup! You can always tell which ones are by the title if they say “as made famous by” instead of just the bands name itself.

Bruh
I'm surprised you couldn't tell. It's pretty obvious on some of the songs especially ones like "Heart Shaped Box"
Not as cool as the PS2 version.
K
You're just jealous that we got Dead! and you didn't smh
@@veryuncoolguy8045 and the 360 also got dlc
DLC that was just covers. Plus PS2 version can easily obtain 360 content today.
@@trooperV2003 half of the dlc were actually masters
4:25 bad song😒
