I had the pleasure of flying onboard LN-RRB back in 2022. It was weird seeing it being SAS's workhorse and then finally being retired with such grandeur. Gonna miss her:(
Im crying watching Im an big nerd in planes espeicielly boenings seeing the final SAS boening flight made me cry 🫡 boeining 737
Imagine if there is a person with no clue on the flight and is angry that the flight took longer than expected😂
Hahah, there was acctully someone booked onboard woundering what was goining on, but from what I heard they had an amazing time onboard.
There was😂
Plot twist: they were really angry at the retirement of the aircraft
i watched it live on flightradar24
@@TheNorwegianTravelershey fly jet2 next please
Imagine geting row 11 on such an iconic flight (it doesn`t have a window)💀
btw 19:15 im dying
This is so sad to see. Haven’t flown with SAS since the pandemic but before then it was almost the only airline for me. I’ve only flown on their A320 once! All other times it has been the 737, but I guess everthing has its time. Rest in peace ;(
Reminds me of flying SAS’s final MD80/90 flight many years back. It was a similar event with a load of AvGeeks from several continents as we flew up over Sweden and then back south following the fjord laden Norwegian west coast.
Wow sounds like an amazing experience!
I love videos like this. It would have been such an awesome flight to be on.
I'm sad that I didn't get a chance to fly on SAS' 737 fleet. I've only flown SAS a handful of times as I'm from the other side of the world and it was always on the NEO, but I've always loved SAS' 737s. I'm glad I had an opportunity to spot them at least once a few years ago.
Tack så mycket för en jättebra video!
Great video. I was on Air New Zealand's final 737 flight in 2015.
Thanks! Must have been an amazing experience!
@@TheNorwegianTravelers Yes it was wonderful. Special Champage, Cookies and Stickers for everyone. No goodie bags though.
That is crazy because I was on FlightradarFree and I saw you doing a low flyby😮😮😮😮😅😅
I flew on this plane the day before, TRD-OSL, SK361, in the exact same seat as you, 8A. I did not have the possibility to go all the way to Arlanad due to my minority age, but at least I got to experience the 737 one last time! I funnily enough forgot my headset in the plane, in the seatback pocket, however i see that it has been removed, so hopefully the "hittegodskontor" at Gardermoen found it, haha. I had the same crew as well, talked with the captain a bit, really cool guy.
What a coincidence! And yes the captain was a really cool guy!
That boarding pass is your ticket to an early retirement, priceless😅.
Haha, actually I got given two onboard for some reason, plus the one while checking in. So I ended up with three. Absolutely a priceless posession to avgeeks 😄
wow, i was tracking this over on flightradar24 because it was the most tracked at the time but had no idea it was the last sas boeing flight. great video
737 subscribers right now, how fitting
cool to see the inside POV
Bring the MD80 series back!
Always the small channels with the highest quality content 👌
Thank you so much!
@@TheNorwegianTravelers No problem. Just subbed to the channel, and i hope to see you grow :)
I remember travelling on these lovely 737s from Dublin To Stockholm Arlanda
Since SAS has been with Douglas/Boeing since it’s inception in the 40’s, this makes quite the departure, or should I say return to it’s roots, as SAS’ predeccesors in Norway and Denmark started in the 30’s with Junker and Dornier aircraft which heritage can be traced to today’s Airbus.
Very cool video. Reminds me of the video on youtube ”Robert the flyer” from inside the cockpit. Really cool. Will subscribe
Stood in the freezing rain for 10 minutes on my roof i Copenhagen hoping to catch a glimpse. Sadly didn't see anything, I'm really gonna miss the brave little 737.
for those who are curious. 5 of the 737-700s are ending up in Canada under Canadian North. they will not be leaving the sky anytime soon.
Veldig Nice Trip Report! Er imponert over hvor fort dere klarte å få den ut!
Takk! Kan si det gikk mange timer foran PC-skjermen 😂// Anders
@@TheNorwegianTravelersHaha ja det tror jeg på 😂
Not even your video
@@InfiniteFlight-lr6kdThen who’s video is it?
Best trip report you have ever made! soooo goood
Thank you 😁😁!
Nice video and memory, but the goodie bag...come on!
Awesome video mate! Thanks for sharing!
Interesting. The airplane has been flying / up in the sky for almost 5 years (continous / non-stop flying time).
Glad to see there was no water cannon salute in Oslo’s cold temperatures! The water jet might just have coated the 737 in ice! Thank you for documenting this historic event which I saw live on FR24 including the 700 ‘art’.
I saw this on FR24 too!
Sad I did not see you, was also on that flight
Great job 👍 I also wanted to get on this last flight of SAS Boeing 737, but there were no more tickets...
this was really touching!!!
Fin video!
LB-RRA is still flying btw
I was watching the plane on flight radar rip DAS B737😢
SAS
Nice!! Should have been done in the daytime.
Thank you! I really agree, but it makes sense as its 1(7:37) UTC. 😊
this is quality
Not only that, but SAS becomes a subsidiary of AIR FRANCE-KLM!
Goodbye Boeing 737 Whit SAS.Great Trip Report
this is sad to see i loved the SAS 737 now there using the a320 i got to fly with SAS 737 to times
It will now be delivered to either Air Eleanoria, Sakura Star Airlines, Tailslandian Airways, or Tesla Air.
I'll get the chance to get all votes.
when have u recorded the video
Jag har aldrig riktigt tyckt om 737 men, coolt ändå!
More Airbus planes please
it's the last boeing
I followed the flight on Flight Radar
Something nice at 0:42😂😂
Nice video!
SAS continues to have one Boeing 737 in the fleet. That is however the one that is fitted out for medical evacuation flights only. It too will however leave, when an Airbus will be fitted out for the same purpouse, sometime in the next couple of years.
And the last Scheduled flight with a US buildt plane, after 77 years with US made planes in the fleet.
took a SAS flight From OSL to Heathrow, so sad to know it was the last time i would be flying on a SAS 737
Sas is not going to be gone
Awesome video! I subscribed!
Thank you so much, we really appreciate it!
i tracked the flivht on flightradar 24
Bra video, og imponerende rask å få den ut!
Tusen takk! Ble mye redigering :)
Veldig bra, siste minne! 🙂
Ja absolutt minner for livet!
Flott reportasje.
Takk for den hyggelig tilbakemeldingen! 😊
I flew on a SAS 737 in august to amsterdam
They should convert it into a freighter
I saw it land at arlanda
Weird i just saw on fl24 a Sas 737 700
Yes, that's correct. SAS still has one Boeing 737-700 plane active, but it's not in use for SAS. The plane is operated by SAS for the Norwegian Armed Forces and the government. The plane is only used for MEDEVAC flights and it's planned to be retired within the next few years and will not return to service for SAS.
Druk vluchtje zo, op deze bijzondere approach
hmm weird, about 3 days ago my friend sendt me a picture of a sas 737. the weird thing is that it is retired, but then about 1 day later he sends another picture.
Maybe because he took it before?
Awesome vid
I wonder if European air carriers, buy and large, are less interested in Boeings now that Airbus is a more local powerhouse.
I watched this on flightradar24 and there was a special drawing. The drawing was a “700” can someone tell me what that stands for?
It stands for boeing 737-700.
Dang I didn’t know 2024 would be such a bad year for aviation
With AF-KL now baling out SAS from their bankruptcy, there's a good chance they will again be a Boeing operator before long, considering that both AF and KL are major Boeing operators. After checking the current SAS fleet, I was surprised how small it is, and only 11 widebodies.
yeah no, AF/KLM will have no say in the SAS fleet. the pilots will all be doing mixed fleet flying where they fly the a320 and a330 or a350, adding a 737 into that would make no sense from a training and logistics pov

Some airline will buy her and fly it for another 20 years
Men vad synd :(
👌👌👌⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💙💙💙💙😥😥😥

😢😢😢😢
It is foolish for an airline to put all its eggs into the basket of a single manufacturer. If I had to do that, it would certainly not be Airbus.
Ryanair for example has been using an only 737 fleet for so long now and is doing just fine. There’s nothing foolish about using a single manufacturer especially when you have a great relationship with them. Considering there is only two major commercial manufacturers (3 if you count embraer) relying on one isn’t at all risky. Why don’t you do do some factual research about the aviation world and why airlines choose what they do before you start saying naive things. Airlines choose their fleets based on their needs and what will bring in a profit. Airbus offers a great range of aircraft for a lot of airlines specific needs and have been proven to be very reliable. Saying you wouldn’t choose Airbus just shows how narrow minded you are and how you have zero clue about anything. Typical people on UA-cam
I would guess most people don't care the slightest who made the airliner they're riding on. If the seat-back entertainment system works, one's luggage isn't lost and the middle seat is empty, that is about the very most one can hope for. Usually, no matter who made the plane, flying sucks.
Try flying in premium classes - you'll soon change your tune.
The 737 did not retire cause SAS is still using it
only 1 737 is staying and that is for medevac only and it will be leaving soon too
Its not true
I see alot of 737s here in my airport rn
I
And its for sas
Until they buy another Boeing aircraft and this title becomes irrelevant 😂
😢If it’s not a Boeing, I ain’t going! The A319 was very disappointing.
European Airlines mostly bow down to EU pressure and fly shit bus . any Boeing is a better plane than an Airbus . just arrived back on a SV 787-10 a much better plane than the A350 at least we have LOT who not bow down to this Airbus nonsense
What a load of tosh.
the 737 is worse than the a320 in literally every way
Huskere 737 700
Will the Chinese banksters buy this company too ?
I mean its a flight with a plane, like the vip bag, it probably cost 500 sek extra for a shitty water bottle, 🤡🤡
