Hey Nate! Thanks for posting this of Tom. It was cool to hear more of him on his way of training. I hope you post more of him in the future. Have a great day!
Thank you so much for your videos! I love it when someone asks a question that pertains to my situation but even the ones that don’t are still interesting to know.
I agree with Tom 100%. When I was training my Service Dog, I tried a clicker, verbal word, and both. I would forget the clicker every so often so I was stuck. So I had to retrain using a verbal word. I have tried to use both, meaning using a verbal when I forgot the clicker and my dog just got confused. So I stuck with a verbal word or cue to let her know. Like Nate always, its about being consistent.
Sir pls make a video on how to teach my dog to go hold and bark if any stranger enters my property and only attack if he or she continuous to move forword please make a video
The only issue I found is that when I use the word or verbal cue, it has to sound the same (same pitch) every time. Again its about being consistently.
Hi Nate, we are thinking of adopting a great Pyrenees to watch over our growing farm. We've read they're loud, they dig, they wander, and they're very stubborn. We have a very young family, and need a dog to train the dog not to bark when unnecessary, not to dig, and not to wander. I know, the opposite of the breed tendencies. But how would you go about training such a dog?
I would recommend going through my basic obedience series and watching it in order. I would also suggest reading my dog training manual. This will give you a clear understanding of dog training. :) amzn.to/2P2tyQH
So I have a 9 week old shephard, she is great but since I started engagement train on day one. Now she runs in front of me all the time turns sits and looks at me. She has tripped me so many times. She also follows my hands all the time?

Just direct her to something you would prefer her to do, such as a climb command. ua-cam.com/video/-mbA_Lwpz_0/v-deo.html
How do I train my 3 month old puppy to not play with the leash?
Snap the leash is what I was told.
Yes, pop the leash out of the pups mouth. :)
I just don't know how to continue to train my dog
Go through my basic obedience series. :)
