How to replace the chain and sprockets on a 2007 BMW F-650GS

In this video, I will replace the chain on my BMW dual sport motorcycle. It takes a 112 link 520 chain. This procedure is similar for all motorcycles. A rivet style master link is stronger than the quick connect type.

How did you wire the top light?

I just connected it to the high beam wire, behind the headlight, so it came on with the high beam.

At 1:22 you state tighten to 140 NM 103 Ft Lbs can you verify that? That seems extreme. My service manual says 50 FtLb but it is a bolt not a nut.

I got my numbers from the service manual too. The bolt would probably be a smaller diameter so it makes sense the torque would be lower.
