      That's a good question!
      죄송합니다 [joesonghabnida] and 미안합니다 [mianhabnida] both mean "I'm sorry" and are both formal polite, they can be used interchangeably, though they do have a slightly different nuance of how sorry you are and 죄송합니다 can be considered a bit more formal and more apologetic. You will see 죄송합니다 used more often in serious situations. 🙂
