Made me laugh to see everyone mentioning bumble. I met my husband off the app my 2nd year living in Japan, and somehow here we are. For me, I'd say the hardest thing we struggle with from time to time is actually cultural differences and family values. Our listening comprehension of each other's language is fairly high, so rarely do we not understand one another when talking. It's mainly been me getting used to the more closed off dynamic of his family compared to my overly connected and over sharing family, and him learning to be more active and less passive during discussions, or when informing me if I've hurt his feelings. My family loves him, and his family truly cares about and loves me, and I feel lucky that we managed to meet and continue to work together to overcome our international differences to be where we are today.
For me, I had a lot of good and bad experiences. My advice for women especially is to be careful about guys that are only interested in you because you're foreign. They'll always mention you're foreign to their friends and take pictures and it just feels like they're only dating you for that purpose. Most of my relationships that ended badly were due to that or cultural differences that we couldn't get past. But I had some good experiences too. I learned to speak Japanese through dating. When I dated people that couldn't speak English, it forced me to learn and speak Japanese more quickly. The guy I'm dating now can only speak Japanese. I’m a Belarusian girl from this video haha! Happily dating for almost 9 months already ☺️ ps. every “foreign” woman is gorgeous in her own way. I would recommend to use dating apps for those who want serious relationships, because as foreigners we don’t have much opportunities to find it “naturally” like Japanese women, who usually find partners from their community like school, university, work. So foreigners who not belong to such communities in Japan have only two options like meeting someone at bars or clubs, or dating apps. From my experience it’s really hard to find someone with serious intentions in a bar or club so apps are a good way to go 🫶 (only if it’s not a tinder)
Countries all over the world have high fluency rates of English yet Japan has an embarrassingly low percentage. English is a universal language; Japanese is not.
@@a.s.1737 Why you come go another country they speak in English...and who idiot are said English is universal language...such stupid..gain a knowledge
Because she is not remotely close to fluent. She said a few words and you think she is fluent. I have lived in Japan for over 20 years, and I can count on one hand how many foreigners can speak Japanese fluently.
Hmmm, "The Language Barrier is Real"...I guess I'll have to be the Bridge, I'll commit to learning it before I go in 2024. (Fingers Cross). I can kinda practice it in person months from now in an area/business with japanese people here where I live if I'm lucky.
I think it would be interesting to learn about LGBT dating for both natives and foreigners in Japan, although I know it will probably be hard to people for the latter.
Dating is not a sacred and formal act of finding a marriage partner. It is a simple matter of being in close proximity for only five minutes and sharing the same way of spending time together. This channel takes dating too broadly.
I think it is stupid to expect japanese people to be able to speak english. You come to a foreign country, you should be the one who adjust, and learn the language.
They actually...dumb people...they visit in Spain they visit Argentina how many speak English..I challenge you interview in Messi they understand but not speak English at all
In Japan, it's not worth it for brothas to go on dates. The Japanese (Asians in general, especially in their home country) rarely go for black people (especially black men), as evidenced by the experiences of the Senegalese man and Patrick from America. If you're white, I believe you'll have a lot more freedom and success dating Japanese women. When they refer to "foreigners," they are referring to white men and women. If you're black, go to Japan as a tourist and enjoy yourself, but don't waste your time dating; if it happens, you're lucky.
@@itsDjjayyArt nah, I've seen some black guys on UA-cam videos claim that the women here love black men, and obviously I can't speak for their experiences but imo thats a bunch of bs. I've been to many social events and trust me when I tell you that the Japanese women here love white men. I've seen it with my own eyes many, many times. white guys don't have to say or do much to get a Japanese girls attention, I've had many instances where my conversations with a Japanese girl will immediately stop when a white man approaches them, and theres immediate interest in their eyes, they would glare at them, smile a lot, and become instantly interested in everything they have to say. I think I had that reaction with maybe 1 Japanese girl. Now I have managed to befriend some Japanese girls but thats about it, I can't get any closer than that. I've met far more Japanese women that just flat out ghost me or walk away from me in person so they can go talk to the white guy they saw. also I'm a 6ft5 black guy so maybe they're just afraid of me, who knows🤷🏿♂ I have listened to some other black guys talk about having a bunch of sex with Japanese chicks they hookup with at places like Shibuya, but heard nothing about any relationships. Also I rarely actually ever see any black guys in Tokyo walking with Japanese women, they're either by themselves or walking with another black dude, and if they are walking with another women then she's likely not Japanese. Dating Apps don't seem to be a fix either, if anything its worse.
@@c-red4637 damn and I've been mainly watching international passports. I guess it depends what part you go to . What about Okinawa I heard they have Amejo. japanese woman who have more style and are attracted to black men. There's a video about them.
@@itsDjjayyArt No, Japanese women (and Asian women in general) do not date black men for a variety of reasons; there are exceptions, but the rule is that they do not. Firstly they are in an environment that has many anti black elements. whiteness is a essential part of their society as a proponent of health, success and beauty, they are taught that whiteness equals this and this has been around for centuries. Secondly there upbringing of avoidance from foreigners especially black people is real, they would be ostracised from their families if they ever date black men, most who have dated or even married black have strained relationships. Black peoples are looked down upon in Asia as a whole even thought black music and entertainment are popular, the Japanese have separated the people from their art form. Thirdly they only like white foreigners so you’d have to compete with them. I would really take the advice or experiences of passport bros with a grain of salt especially in certain countries, Japan being one of them. The problem with passport bros is they fail to understand that going to another country especially when you have a higher currency will allow you certain benefits. Most passport bros just go to poor countries and use their money. Japan is one of the richest countries on Earth, same with South Korea and China, passport bros (black ones) will not have a great time unless you’re a millionaire perhaps. I have heard the stereotype of Okinawa because a us base is stationed there but it’s most likely exaggerated even if your success might increase.

your videos always have a nice positive aura

“Japanese people don’t speak much English.” That’s because you’re in Japan. Look at it the other way .. you don’t speak much Japanese.
Countries all over the world have high fluency rates of English yet Japan has an embarrassingly low percentage. English is a universal language; Japanese is not.
@@a.s.1737 Why you come go another country they speak in English...and who idiot are said English is universal language...such stupid..gain a knowledge
I am surprised no one mentioned their partner's parents as a hurdle in the relationship.
You’re doing great job bro👍👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
100k omedeto jesse🥳
Everyone from around the world still speaks English, blows my mind ...
to the girl saying she not a model
girl U ARE A MODEL 🔥
😒
its not easy to date Japanese women...but foreigners or hafu are easy...many one night stands
No one going to mention how the women from Belarus is really fluent in Japanese?
Because she is not remotely close to fluent. She said a few words and you think she is fluent. I have lived in Japan for over 20 years, and I can count on one hand how many foreigners can speak Japanese fluently.
A great video, I love it. I LOVE THEIR FASHION AS I DO. A beautiful places as well Good job I enjoy watching it.
Hmmm, "The Language Barrier is Real"...I guess I'll have to be the Bridge, I'll commit to learning it before I go in 2024. (Fingers Cross). I can kinda practice it in person months from now in an area/business with japanese people here where I live if I'm lucky.
They say exactly the same about Scandinavian countries.... Cold

super interesting video😮
What’s up Broski 🦋,
I guess I’m just unlucky or ugly. Every match I get on bumble (which isn’t a ton) is a flakey chick who’s not serious at all. Or downright crazy.
I think it would be interesting to learn about LGBT dating for both natives and foreigners in Japan, although I know it will probably be hard to people for the latter.
No
@@itsDjjayyArt 😂
Yes this will be a Great video!!!!❤
These people are fun. I would like to be their friend
Dating is not a sacred and formal act of finding a marriage partner. It is a simple matter of being in close proximity for only five minutes and sharing the same way of spending time together. This channel takes dating too broadly.
More of this series please
Osaka is pretty friendly than Tokyo
Another Juicy video, yeah!😊
i like that Belarus girl, she is impressive
Busuu? That's hilarious!
Dating should just be dating; shouldn't matter where you're from lol
What is dating?
Wtf ,there is a language barrier lol ,how are you gonna communicate ??
@@Србомбоница86 google translate 😂😂joking lol
Already knew that we don't date in America so why would it different there prolly worse
Damn is it that bad
Jeez I thought they love black men
@@itsDjjayyArt nah, I've seen some black guys on UA-cam videos claim that the women here love black men, and obviously I can't speak for their experiences but imo thats a bunch of bs. I've met far more Japanese women that just flat out ghost me or walk away from me in person so they can go talk to the white guy they saw. also I'm a 6ft5 black guy so maybe they're just afraid of me, who knows🤷🏿♂
I have listened to some other black guys talk about having a bunch of sex with Japanese chicks they hookup with at places like Shibuya, but heard nothing about any relationships.
I have heard the stereotype of Okinawa because a us base is stationed there but it’s most likely exaggerated even if your success might increase.
man, I love the background music. May I know the song?

Hint for man :If you are rich , dating is not hard.
hint for women :If you are a woman its not hard.
if you are poor or ugly that might be a problem
and you continue to perpetuate an ongoing problem for men
