@Adrian If you want a modern browser you need fire fox or parallels desktop 9 and create a windows 8.1 vm and you can run the most new version of software
I just got my MacBook 2007 repaired. I have a 2.16 ghz cpu, 3gb of ram (upgraded from 2gb) , 250gb hdd (upgraded from 80gb) and it’s a cool black color Edit: something went wrong so I’ll only have 2gb of ram and my motherboard is swapped so I have to check what cpu I have.
Is there an external hard-drive device that you can recommend? I need to save my many photos. The newer My Passport (1TB) for Mac will not work with this Mac OS X 10.7 Lion version. I need to get the photos and some docs off before I buy a new Mac. My daughter and I save on the same account cloud, which was a mistake and I don't want to further mix things up. Thanks
Dangerous as in you're information is going to be a lot easier to obtain through flawed security issues the older browsers had. The newer versions received patches that the older ones never got.

We had MacOS lion for 5 years until we were forced to update by a holiday company which is kind of disappointing

Just loaded lion on an early 2008 macbook and I can't get UA-cam to load, I've tried other browsers but nothing seems to work.

watching on catalina in Macbook air 2018
Seems like websites take forever to load on that machine.
Install a ssd and waterfox browser and you will be faster with a modern browser.
Just wipe and run win 7 basic and eeevrything works incl youtube 😀
UA-cam works on chrome for me
Edit: it works great on 360p and it can do 720p with occasional slowdown but it works
