      Remember the stock market ALWAYS DROPS FASTER than it goes up. Loosing your Gains may take YEARS TO RECOVER! Play it safe especially in this market where we still haven’t felt the impact of all those Rate hikes.. YIKES!!!
      The market in my opinion is a NO FLY ZONE!
      I will take the 5% on my Cash and sleep well for now!

    This stock market is too irrational for me There are no fundamentals and every rally is based on investors sentiments. One year we had Bitcoins rally then NFTs; the next Metaverse and now it's AI. I wonder what comes after next. Nobody seems to notice this bubble. I'm not saying do not invest only thread carefully

    If you’re a long term buy and holder and dollar cost averaging you buy at ATH, ATL, and everything in between. I bought some S&P 500 index the day before the ATH and didn’t flinch bc I understand the market and my hold will be more than a decade.

    Market highs can sometimes be followed by corrections, but predicting the timing and extent of it is challenging. I've heard some analysts talk about a 'massive' correction. It makes me wonder if it's time to adjust my $2M portfolios or maybe even consider some defensive investments.

    I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

    I know, I know! The best time to start investing in the market is now, "It's never too late!" If people want to just depend on their 9 to 5 good luck because I have seen so many videos of people talking about themselves being fired lately. Everyone needs other ways to bring in cash flow separate from their job. The Compound interest is the 8th wonder of the world! Once again another Great video.

    The answer to this question depends on your investment philosophy. If you prefer momentum, it's best to invest at highs. If you prefer value, well you need patience for notable corrections. But what I'll say is that if you do have patience, it's best to invest in corrections vs at highs. I can 100% guarantee that Nvidia will absolutely correct even if it rallies higher for "just a while longer". But what you have seen historically is that markets ebbs and flows. So I would say, just build your money up and remain patient for corrections. I would not invest 10k or higher at all time highs on any company. But my framework is focused on value instead of current market price..

    We will never forget 2008 market crash. Invest mindfulness.
    Investing is good. Risk tolerance is more important. Everyone needs to assess their risk and invest base on their tolerance. Blindly investing because so and so said or so and so company (NVDA) doing well. Nothing to do with investing is personal thing and should only be on invested only companies you feel comfortable.

    • @jgray690
      @jgray690 7 місяців тому

      The problem with that is that anyone who stayed in the market and didn’t have to sell(or panic sold) in 2008 has more then made their money back at this point. If you have a 15-20 year horizon, the trick is to stop looking at the daily numbers. It doesn’t matter if it crashes, historically it will recover. Buy and hold. Period. The people who lost money, even in 2008 were people who sold. If you held or bought. You were fine in the long term. Stop listening to the noise. stop watching the weekly dips and flows. Over a long horizon Those daily and weekly dips are irrelevant. You have to take your emotions out of it. I don’t look at housing prices every day. “Oh my house went up in value! Oh my house went down!” Unless I’m looking to sell in the next 6 months, it’s literally irrelevant.

    I am with you 100%. However, I hope your followers do not get the impression from Reason 5 that getting dividends makes you richer, they are simply a transfer funds from a company's acct to shareholders personal acct , and the value of shares decreases by the same amount upon payment. They are not like interest payment that one would earn, from a bond or t-bill etc, which does make you richer.
