I hope you guys read the comments on these things because hopefully it can help. I also have a Subaru and I rev it to 10K and it's just perfectly fine at those high RPMs. In my experience I have forgotten to tighten the pitch stop mount and have seen others do the same and the transmission lock you out of gear. I seen in the video you pointed at it and called it a t bracket I believe. You're on the right track get that adjusted right and it should help a lot. Hopefully this helps.

Just a reminder, with fuel pumps the power is proportional to the square of the voltage across it - if the alternater is good for 14.4V (running) but there is only 12V across the pump, the pump is only getting (12/14.4)^2 or 70% of it's potential. You won't get up to full alternator voltage, but the closer you do, with suitable guage wiring, etc, the more you will get out of it, especially at higher pressures. From that, you may realise that doubling up the pumps without upgrading the wiring may give a LOT less gain than expected, as the voltage drop will be significantly greater, and if part of the problem is restrictive plumbing...
You 'should' be able to find a flow Vs pressure Vs voltage (might be current, which is approximately proportional to voltage) chart, or graph - it can be quite eye opening. Hmmm, seems not - they don't give much information, period - just the most basic stuff which, TBH, isn't that useful and can be considered misleading - www.magnafuel.com/protuner-series.html Personally, that lack would have me avoid them if I had the option - the pressure head has a BIG affect on the fuel flow, and hence potential power they support - and that is basically ignored and instead they give a nominal "power" figure... remember, a large N/A engine may have the spec' 45PSI at the rail, while a turbo' may have 45PSI PLUS reference of 30 PSI, making 75PSI rail on full boost (dropping fuel flow to 60%, or less, than the unboosted level) , and if running E85 that further limits the power that could be supported as up to 35% more fuel volume is required (that means as little as 75% of gasoline power/unit of flow).
Doing the sums that means a nominal 2000hp N/A could easily drop to 900, or less, with a turbo' running E85. Multiply by the aforementioned voltage difference from nominal and it could be even lower - or a little higher if voltage is higher than nominal - a common reason for running 16V systems, the pumps work more efficiently.

@@ConLLee a lot hotter weather a lot of the time compared to hear. tracks here are at sea level so better air for turbo cars.there are lots of ep3 type r civics here.im sure america only got them in 1.6 versions.and they have aftermarket superchargers or turbos. but not many over 600 hp. go look up the fwd drag series in the uk on youtube and see that things arent much different tbh. over here the roads are twisty like a tarmac rally stage so most people set the cars up to corner not just go fast on straight highways.

Hondaru + high comp pistons + 4 slicks + two 750s fuel pumps + a larger turbo with that same turbo powering the larger, on a twin turbo manifold, dual blow off valves + dogbox transmisison + parachute + upgraded axles and driveshaft + water injection + NOS injection + larger fuel injectors + lots of other smaller stuff to reduce weigh = might equal high 7s to low 8s

Boyz, you mention a lot about fuel pump duty cycle which caught my attention. How are you measuring this? This makes me think you guys are using some sort of pwm controller. Normally I just wire my FP to a relay and it runs constant 12v. But a pwm setup would allow a cooler, quieter, and longer lasting pump. Please let me know more about your setup! As always keep up the sick work!

It releases the load on the drivetrain better than just letting off and shifting. The gears go in like butter

Subaru Sti 6spd can handle high rpm. One of the time attack Sti I followed hit over 9k rpm. Probably adjust the trans mount and it will be fine.
The T bracket does need to be tightened completely down Subaru’s are weird about not being exactly at stock angle
Do you guys have a solid trans mount for that STi 6 speed? That might help. The stock rubber mounts with enough torque lock you out sometimes, especially 4th and 5th
