Phong torque wrench "beepbeep" calibrated for high elevation spring time in the rocky's. Shit had me cracking up. I love it boiz keep up the great wotk
I worked with a guy we called the human torque wrench. It started from a bet and got out of hand, but he could get within a 1-2 lbs with a normal ratchet every time.

I don't know if it matters but the Dyno seems to be backwards compared to the other mustang awd dynos on UA-cam.
You can make it where the rollers read backwards.

The balancing of the internals and the harmonic crank pulley, are doing their work. That is money well spent!
So glad you bought new timing chain guide glides. When they're worn it just risks more timing chain vibrations, and so new ones will keep your engine's chain and timing more accurate.
Thank you for doing that Kyle. You'll get the most of the harmonics pulley and the most out of your money for all the internal balancing work you spent good money for.

I'm going to piggyback on what @Tech NO city said but add that I always had better luck using the vehicle simulation. Start out with about 75% of the vehicles weight and 15hp aero load and increase the weight if you need more load or decrease if its struggling through the pull. Also, set the stop rpm a couple hundred rpms before the limiter: the idea is to run through the specified test window and then the dyno will end the test and begin to brake on its own. If you don't go past the upper rpm and are slow on stopping the test, the graph gets all messed up.
May not hurt to call Mustang. They were pretty helpful whenever we reached out to them.

Did you oil the timing and oil pump chains before putting them on? A lot of guys who build Chevy engines will put a new timing chain on right out of the box without oiling them and although it works fine it's better to have oil on it for that first start up until oil gets to it.

you guys sell swap kit for k20 on subaru ??? id be so down to buy one
double check that your crankshaft spins freely (before all those covers go on) and that your sealing surfaces on the bedplate are straight. when you weld on aluminum engines, it can move around from the localized heat stress.

Throw that intake cam sprocket in the trash. A little research goes a long way...Brent will have more control of the intake cam with a 50* VTC gear from a K20a2/K20z1/K20z3
Depends on the cams. May not need any adjustment since its gonna be a drag only car.
Duane Bailey it’s a variable intake cam gear, drag car or not it’ll still reach a higher cam angle than 25* with the cams he’s using. There’s much more control of the power delivery with the 50* gear.
@@rb26xs14 yes I know how it works. However he is using a 4 piston head and some cams. Since it's a drag car you don't need to advance or retard the cam gear to help gas mileage down low. Just degree the cams and lock it. Also in the turbo world your not pushing timing at all. With bigger cams you need to worry about piston and valve contact. Which is why you degree them to see how far you can advance or retard timing. If it was a stock setup or some drop in cams then yes a 50 degree gear would make more sense.
