The thing that I found out is that you don't need to use the G-force mode to play codm. You can use the xbox mode by pressing the on/off button with the b button. Then when you connect the controller to your phone, codm with register as a xbox controller

Yeah for some odd reason they didn't include it inside the manual they just say if you wanted to use it for iphone press on/off button with B

Made my mobile gamimg experience with codm a lot better, im just not so accustomed to using touchscreen when playing fps along with many functions.

by using this controller with app open can it cause you to get banned from playing codm? I just got the controller in mail and now I see someone on this channel said you can get banned for using an third party app?
Would be helpful if you uploaded the actual settings for the joystick controls, the numbers you set it for X and Y axis for the joysticks.
When playing cod mobile does it show you have a Bluetooth controller connected?
Reason I ask is when I connect and xbox controller it only puts you in matches with other controller players which are few and far between so most players end up bots.
Also finding ranked matches at high ranks are pretty impossible
According to some comments, G-mode fakes using the touchscreen so it doesn't show as using a Bluetooth controller which means fast matchmaking

I made a video about this actually. It simulates touch inputs, therefore yes you will be playing in touch lobbies. Finally the suffering of controller players can come to an end. if u a die hard controller player like we r the aspect of not only being able to get lobbies but sweaty lobbies, not being limited to controller sensitivity that does not go high enough, obviously can't forget the damn near 2 full seconds it takes to go prone on reg controller, you will actually be able to separate ur slide and prone buttons for them quick drop shots, and let's be honest codm doesn't provide the best controller hud. Being able to choose which buttons to assign is huge w. Making L3 slide is great cuz to hit slide cancel all ya gotta do is click+turn on single analog combined with quick ads tap then R1 much better for weapon switch, if u got the paddles on the back like i do (and before u even ask u cannot use my controller the kunai 3 unless u have an Asus ROG phone) those r great too i put left one as jump right one prone this set up is deadly simply cuz u can perform all of your movement needs without ever taking your thumbs off the analogs. There's def a way u can achieve this effect without the paddles might have to get creative and assign some buttons to a button combo which gamesir let's u do. That is HUGE ADVANTAGE over regular controller and just the fact that it's connected to the phone gives u possibility to use gyro. All of this together deadly combo my friend if ppl knew about this there face would look like this 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 basically playing codm on the wii with a Nintendo switch and customizable hud 😂

Having looked into this for some time now, GameSir seems to be best (relatively affordable) option. I’m ordering one now for my iPhone. Up until now I’ve been playing a number of games on my phone with touchscreen controls like WWE 2K22, Star Wars Squadrons, Dirt 5 and loving it (I even posted a few vids) but it’s time to give a good controller a go.
i don't recommend it it won't work for ios 15 and above and on android the support is really on android 12 it recognise it as a keyboard and the g touch app is a total mess i regret buying this controller i wish i have gone for the kishi or anything else
@@Mhdalashhab I actually ended up getting a Kishi. It was half price on amazon (refurbished) and works amazingly

You can play codm on the ios version but you not gonna get none of the extra benefits the Android version has. U will not have access to the button mapping feature and it will definitely recognize u using controller i think it recognizes as xbox controller. So if i was u i would consider better options. Most ios players get the backbone or the razor kishi.

Same here, it appears that the Gamesir app mapping feature is broken, check their recent reviews and you will see it is common. I cannot get it to work with the actual controller support in COD mobile either. There is a good third party app that should work, especially if you are on Android 11 or later. It is called Mantis Gamepad Pro and will map basically any controller including the Gamesir X2 Bluetooth. The downside is that it only allows you to save one game mapping config at a time unless you pay a one time premium in app purchase for $4.99 USD. Also if you are not on Android 11 or later, it can still work too but I believe it requires either a second Android device or PC to set it up. *copy and pasted this but just sharing that this method may be the only option.

Same issue here. This appears to be a broken update in the Gamesir app or incompatibility with the newer Android 11 &12 OSes. You may be better off trying a third party app at this point, Mantis Gamepad Pro is a great alternative and has worked wonders for me on Android 11 & 12. The only downsides are that you can only save one game mapping config at a time unless you pay in app to make it the premium version, which I believe is $4.99 USD one time charge. Just check the recent reviews on the Gamesir app. Who knows if the issue will ever be fixed.

Yes it is. You would have to manually set up the controls like I did in this video.
When sliding the buttons to set up the layout the buttons just go to the middle of the screen and it doesn't allow me to move it anywhere else deleting the button and adding it again just does the same thing. any suggestions??
I had this issue myself actually, don't add the button then drag it over, do it the other way around. Drag the question mark to the button you want to program then push the button you wish to add. It seems when u touch the button that has been added it will get stuck on the left side of the screen but the way I explain u don't even have to touch the added button

which version of iOS are you guys on? I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 14.7.1 and I could not get CODM to work with either G-Mode or B-mode..

@@Roach_Toast When you press home+A button you can see blue and green light it means you can connect only android devices (gamesir x2) but if you press home+ b button the lights turn on purple and green light. Now open your bluetooth settings in your ios device u can see xbox wireless controller. Easy. If it didn’t show up just open your controller and press G+S 5 sec until lights turn off (reset) and try again

@@jkn2k don't get the pro it doesn't allow for the button mapping. But I would get the x3. It costs more but if u don't wanna spend the extra money go with the x2. I bought the x2 pro I really like the setup and color but as I said for some reason the button mapping doesn't work for that model.

No you can't get banned for using a controller in codm.
Yes you can, yes cod mobile has controller support, however xbox and Playstation controllers are only allowed. You will be paired of with other controller players. This product uses a third-party button mapping app, that can definitely get you banned. As it's tricking the system into thinking you are not on a controller. It's in their tos. If the controller does not automatically connect ro the game, then you can and will get banned for using this product. Clearly the reviewer has no idea how this really works and should not be endorsing this controller for use with cod mobile

The front worst piece of shit I have ever seen. I purchased this because of all these positive reviews from scam UA-camrs. Yeah you got paid but I got burnt.
Firstly out of the box absolutely not plug and play. You have to download special software and repair the version on the device. Cannot connect directly to otg as promised. And that's a firmware problem on the device from scamtory
Secondly does not work with any game out of the box. You have to use the most broken controller emulator I have ever seen. And its a nightmare to setup. There is not even a sensitivity option. And in any game the forward movement it also triggering the run on and off causing a glitch run. The turn left and right is also broken
The octo Xbox controllers from years gone by are much better than this.
In all the problems from the last few years this surprisingly the most disappointing.
I worked hard for my money and this crap has ended up in the bin where is belongs and
I agree with you,, these devices must have been shipped out to receive paid reviews, as I have not yet seen one of the reviewers, yet, show HOW they made it work, every one of them skips from unboxing to in-game play, completely jumping past the actual (and obviously nearly impossible) setup process. My device goes from blinking lights to on and I have yet to make it pair with CODM. If the Mantis progy doesn't improve things, mine is going back! 😡
Nope, if cod mobile does not automatically recognize the controller as a controller, then you risk getting banned. And the reason is the use of a third-party mapping app, which this controller needs to play the game, goes against the tos cod mobile has.
It's not a third party app. The button mapper is built into the device

@Carp it says it right in the tos dippy, and yes you can get banned for it, seen it happen to people i know. If you have to use an app to map keys, you're violating the tos. You absolutely are risking getting banned, because the game system does not detect a controller being used, in match making.
@тя¹ɢɢ³я you don't know how mappers work then, because your phone doesn't have the mapper nativity, you have to put it on their, and that does go against the tos, as that is a third-party app. The device itself has to have a built in mapper, which they do not.

Yea COD is like that unfortunately. You always have to map the controls! It's very clunky, but it can work.

You can visibly see the latency. Bluetooth is not recommended for codmobile.
