The Gamesir X2 actually not a bad controller. The 8Bitdo controllers may be a better option though.I own both and I prefer the dpad on the 8Bitdo controller, than the Gamesir X2.
anyone buying this controller to play call of duty mobile on Android make sure you use iOS mode to get the "Xbox Wireless Controller" option in Bluetooth when connecting. It'll allow you to play natively without mapping which i found to be not as effective and limited gameplay to a small degree. which in particular was movement with the right analog
I got the USB-C version and it's reall really good. Seems better than the Bluetooth version, as no lag at all, and no concerns about charging it etc. Teamed up with my Poco X3 NFC and playing PS2 and 3ds games with it generally extremely well
Im planning to buy Gamesir X2. Do you think portrait would work on Bluetooth? Sometimes I do want portrait for the 3DS and NDS emulation. We have the same size of phone, I have X3 Pro And both versions of Gamesir X2 have same size I can't choose between the advantages I'll get in Bluetooth or USB-C.
@@Reymax164 ahh, I would avoid the Bluetooth version, all the reviews I have seen show it to be too laggy. With the Gamesir USB-C i have played some 3ds and DS games and they work fine in Landscape with the large main screen and reduced touch screen on the one phone screen.
I haven't had any issues with the A and X buttons, maybe my hands are just built different. But I'm enjoying this controller now using it for 3DS emulation; it's been perfect!
X2 has non-lineair thumbsticks. Range of motion isn't a full circle. Range of motion is shorter then most sticks Movement is twitchy, hard for fps games. Easy to confirm with 'gamepad tester' app (on Android)
8Bit Controller is $10 less but its not built to really attach to Smartphone and its not really portable and you still have to buy that attachment to place the phone on it so if thats the case why not just use Xbox or PlayStation Controller 🤷🏾♂️and save $50
comes with a case, portable, and its great for nintendo emulators i get if you try to use it with a fps its not that good but its great for emulation and the latency is barely noticeable
GameSir have been saying it (Blutooth version) doesn't work with EggNS. (Though the previous USB C version did work). Fingers crossed 🤞 for the emulator makers to find a work around.
Actually I bought in online the type c version but that company delivered the wrong one to me the Bluetooth one and I'm so pissed since I saw your video I might consider this and I wasn't planning buying this just for switch emulation cause i already hav a switch I bought it for aethersx2 heheh
I have a Game Sir G4s, it has silicon ( or whatever ) in the hand held. After put it in the locker 1 year, the silicon melt down. I could take it off by nail and it sticky. Very bad quality, but it's china, i don't appreciate in their goods
I love Android. But I live in Europe and have a prepaid data plan in Europe prepaid plans are 28 days long so they can charge you 13 times a year. I am sick and tired of resetting my Android data every 28 days. I will post this in every android phone revue I see untill Google puts a 28 day plan in the OS please like and share if you are in the same boat as me.
The X2 is a pretty good all-in-one option for your mobile gaming needs. What are your thoughts?

Does it not have an audio jack?
@@aurorapaisley7453 Sadly it doesn't have one i think
which is pretty sad
Stop working on me. C.O.D keeps loading the connection. Great controller though will miss it. It won't work on my phone.

Is the latency noticeable at all? Thats the only thing stopping me from getting the BT version instead of the Type C one...
Apparently no

Very nice review! Thanks!
Cool vid man
Latency is bad trying to play first person shooters. A NO GO! Get the USB-C version!!!
I can't use anything other than the Razer Kishi just due to the input lag. Kishi has basically none. I've tried about 6 others.
Backbone also has no latency it’s because it plugs in and not Bluetooth
Is this better than using ps4 controller? Or Ipega 9025?
Can it be paired with pc?
i am 10 and i have small hands and have android 8 is this best thing to buy
So the joysticks are smaller than the joycons?
How to activate mapping?
G touch does not work on mine. Changing modes period for that matter, does not work.
I wonder if these still come with the egg ns emulator or support it.

Can it be used for portrait mode?
not at all ideal, but you could try?
It keeps opening apps and closing out apps. How to fix?
Can you help with connecting samsung galaxy a52 to play genshin impact
Will this work on mediatek devices
