This was the most helpful and easy way to remember how to reboot my windows literally everyone else have 30 min to a hour videos talking about nothing just to learn how to do it, thank youu 🙌
i was doing this already but used this video to make sure im doing things correctly... its nice to have someone make a straight to the point video with no him hawing around as i need quick answers. thank you!!!
Thank you for the simple instructions. Tried doing this a couple years ago and gave up. Decided today to try again and your tutorial was perfect! Much appreciated!!
Good advice. Also you can store your windows (and other software) licence information and keys in most password managers and safely back up the encrypted data in the cloud.
This was exactly what I needed. You really saved me both mentally & $$$. This was straight & to the point! I’m subscribing….thanks for making this great video😊. Wish there was a video to partition 64 Gb flash drive, or flash / external hard drives. Watched some of your other videos. I’m a fan👍👍👍
jesus this all I needed bro, why was every other videos on this 30 mins long/ required a gazillion different third party apps and made shit more complicated
thank you so much I'm just getting into doing memtesting and installing windows 10 for a shop I'm helping out at this will makes it so much better being able to do it at home now
I just maintain 3 or 4 clones of my 256GB M.2 system drive on some older, slower SSDs. I usually do a clone before every major update to Window 10. If I need a 2nd drive to boot from, I boot from one of the clones. If I need to replace my System drive I just clone to clone to the M.2. But whatever works for you.
Great vid, thanks. I'm not too computer literate. I want to make a system image. Is this enough to boot AND restore my computer, or do I need the image and a bootable usb recovery drive? If yes, can they both be on the same usb?
Hi. there are a couple of video's that discuss OBS pumping sound and video into Zoom for enhanced conferencing options. I would love to see TechGumbo's clear and straight tutorials on doing this. Thanks for all so far.
Fantastic video. Luckily (or not) I’ll be creating this on my husband’s computer as mine had the BSOD and now it’s saying “boot device not found”. I’m hoping this does the trick?
Thanks. I only wish that you had done this video earlier. Right now my computer is so messed up that I can't use it. I'm going to have to find someone with experience for the brand I have.
Making a boot disk doesn't require the files on your PC, so as long as you can access the web and have a working USB you can create one. But if your PC is too messed up to create a boot disk and you don't have friends with a PC, you can create a boot disk from a smart phone that can connect to a USB stick. You can also get windows on a pen drive although that will likely cost... Note that Windows is a standard product so you are unlikely to need a special version. After you install it you will likely need to update the device drivers for your hardware. One other thing: if you want to keep the data on the drive where you are installing windows be careful to select the option to only install windows and not wipe the entire drive at the same time.
If your using it for gaming or any art software go for 64bit. x84 is 32bit and the max ram you can use is 4gb. as today 2024-20-05 4gb can hardly run any apps and Microsoft edge.
After the completion of download the file i get is not a mediacreation file but its say something like burn file or disk, please someone help me in this issue
But, what comes next when you put in this newly created USB Windows setup in new computer? What is the process for that? I never done it before and I am scared to screw it up. Also, what should I do with the current version I am running on this PC? Will I be able to log in to new one or I need to uninstall this one first?
If all how-to videos was this clear format, the world would be a better place

You are the best. I did not think setting my Sony Vaio back to Windows 8.1 factory settings would be such a hassle.
Thank you for not dragging this out into a 12 minute video. Man i hate youtube sometimes lol
You sir, are one of the good ones. Thanks
As it's not likely to be used very often I would have added sticking a label on that USB drive.
Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
That's what I just did :) Thankfully, I don't have many problems with my PC, but sometimes things happen, it's good to be prepared.
Always be prepared for when shit happens. Better to be safe and ready than sorry and scared.
Thank you for the simple instructions. Tried doing this a couple years ago and gave up. Decided today to try again and your tutorial was perfect! Much appreciated!!

@@MDIMASATYA yeah you're gonna have to format it, which will delete everything off of it

Once you turn a USB into a boot drive can you stor other things on it and still use that drive like normal? Or is it only usable as a boot drive now?
I don’t you can store things because I booted one with Lubuntu and it became write only
