My grandfather recently passed away, and we inherited his house. Girl, when I tell you he hasn’t changed the decor since at least 1985, I’m not lying! The amount of money we have to put into replacing the WOOD PANELING (and some 70’s carpet), girrrrrl. I look at these walls and I feel like Fiona in hell at the end of American Horror Story Coven.

I adore how this movie builds the tension in a way very similar to Rosemary’s Baby. Not a lot is happening at all times, but you know it’s escalating. The main character is so isolated even though there’s people around her and the old couple give off Minnie and Roman on Xanax vibes. Rosemary’s Baby is one of my favourite movies of all time and I would die to see your reaction to it. Mia Farrow is sensational

I used to work an overnight shift where I took care of 5 disabled women, I took care of their diapers, bath them, dressed and spoon fed them. Also I worked in a memory care entertaining residents some as old as 103. It’s heartbreaking to see how the body ages backwards. After seeing all that, I agree with not wanting to get so old or have dementia to the point someone has to take care of you to the extreme. Blessings upon those angels that do.
I’m telling you it must be so heartbreaking to have to deal with the fact the body that once let you do whatever you wanted to, is now in the hands of someone else cuz you can’t do anything, ugh. But the people that do take care of the elderly are doing the lords work for sure

AAAAAAAAA I LOVE THIS REACTION! Fun fact: I went to a director’s screening in LA back when this first came out. If you know one thing about LA it’s that our traffic is the work of the devil and this was a Saturday night, roads FULL all across the city. I forget why but there was a delay leaving my friend’s house and we had 15 minutes to get from midtown to West Hollywood, a trip that should have taken about 30 mins. Let me tell you, some cosmic force turned EVERY. SINGLE. traffic light green for us-to the point that we freaked out-so we arrived on time to the director’s interview. I’m worried we sold our souls to the devil that night to get to his movie on time 😈

Actually, during that time in the 80s if someone called you from a payphone you could can get an operator to dial the number that just called you, I think there was a way to do it like pressing * 69 which what you dialed to call back the last person to call you. Also, 100.00 dollars in the 80s would be 3x by now. So he was going to give her about 300 dollars for one night...not too bad for few hours...except...this sounds like some Omen - ish, so no thank you

Old video but just to let yall know pay phones could receive calls, lots could, you just needed to know the number and be there to get the call. That's how the mob use to make calls in the old days since they couldn't get a wire tap because of how hard it was to justify using it on a publicly available phone.

I have another recommendation for you that has found it's way near the top of the list of scariest movies I've ever seen. It's a Korean horror film called "Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum," and it has a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes. It starts off a little slow, but by the end, it really had my friend and me on edge. It's rare that a horror movie has me blocking my eyes, but this one did a couple of times. I hope you'll consider checking it out!
