I have been waiting for an AWD small class C with rear bed & mid bath for a few years. This will be my first RV hopefully later this year. Really like how the bed is not on a slide. I’m planning on dry camping more than using campgrounds. This is the perfect small RV. Great video, thanks!
At Motor Home Specialist and other RV dealerships they typically give 25% discount. The Ford chassis should give you no issues. The Gemini/Compass cabinetry is the RVs #1 weakness. I want one.
I would like to know if the drivers seat can be height adjusted in order to give more leg room. I’m 6 ft. Also, do the drivers seat rotate? Thanks for your response back.
You are right. I feel that the 24kb combination of features and Ford work for me. Yes, the cabinetry isn't the best, but I can fix a loose cabinet. I am the master of plastic wood putty and tightening screws.
I was in the RV Industry for over 16 years and the little "flaws" that I spotted as you filmed your video have been happening for ALL of those years!!! The counter top-extension was falling off the wall, the fridge hinge is broken and who knows what else that wasn't shown. The point is, that quite a few companies still do not inspect their units coming off of production.....even though they say they do. In the video you brought up upgrading to a "fantastic fan" or a porcelain toilet. I ask all of you considering this motorhome: If Thor would upgrade the fan, add a rear ladder, install a porcelain toilet and in my opinion design a shower that an adult can use without flooding the bathroom!!! I mean come on that curtain will do nothing! Let's say they do ALL of those upgrades but have to add $1500 to the price of the motorhome, will that deter you from buying it? NO not at all. They are just to CHEAP and they really do not understand their customer. But the floor plan is a decent floor plan, I will give you that.
Yes, Thor is a budget option. I like the Canadian Leisure Travel B+. After adding a few options, It's amazing how quality improves for an extra $75k. leisurevans.com/wonder/
As noted, I am at Motor Home Specialist in Alvarado, Texas. About a half an hour drive south of Fort Worth. You should get at least a 25% discount at this dealership.
This Thor Compass is one of the most affordable Class B+ motorhomes on the market. Typically, tens of thousands of dollars less than the competition. Yes, they cut corners to make this RV. But like I said in the video, I could live with fixing loose hinges and upgrading fans and toilets. But that's me. This RV is almost 5 times more ($115k) than what I paid for my Rockwood travel trailer ($25k) 13 months ago. Owning a Compass/Gemini is only a dream. A modest one at that. mhsrv.com/2023-thor-motor-coach-24kb-all-wheel-drive-awd-luxury-b-ecoboost-edition-w--heat-pads--and-amp--more-new-class-c-tx-i3492174?_sp=a59dd69c-7c4a-43e9-aa06-0e01eca3cddd.1677592443028
Why does _every_ RV have to be on a Ford?? I *_HATE_* Ford's!!! Ugh!! I was loving this until I found out that this was a damned ford. I'm watching all these people showing RVs every day for years. I've only seen Ford, Mercedes and sometimes freightliners for the biggest ones. I'm not ever going to find an RV for myself. I refuse to ever purchase a Ford. No choice in chassis's at all. 😔 And it has nothing to offer...no overhead bunk. Where does the four people sleep? And the long piece between the twin beds, making one have to sit at the foot of the bed and crawl up into the bed. Inconvenient. I dislike it because it's a Ford but it has nothing, not even color, to offer on the inside either. It looks cheap and poorly planned.
This is a B+! There are no overhead sleeping accommodations typically in a B+. The layout of this motorhome is rather standard. There are more expensive options from Leisure Travel and Airstream. Among others. I actually like Fords. It's like complaining to my wife about a young Brad Pitt. She would respond, "Why?"
We enjoy your friendly voice and your Presentations. Hopefully we’ll meet you some day.😃
Thanks for your kind words. I don't even know what region you live in. We could be neighbors.
It wasn’t a missing screw on fridge, its how you switch the swing of door. Nice review👍
Thanks for the heads up.

Very nice and complete review of the KB model thanks for your work! Mike
You are welcome. I love these motorhomes. Only problem, my wallet is rather thin.
I LOVE THIS RV!! ❤️👍🌺
Me too.
I'm saving my pennies so I can buy a 2028 Thor Compass 24KB (or similar). That's the plan!
With the Ford dealer network in Canada & the US this would be a better choice. Nice RV.
Love the layout for a small RV. WhenI looked at it at our local RV dealer the fit and finish was really cheaply done.
Thor Gemini/Compass have mediocre cabinetry. With a little care, it should last.
I would like to know if the drivers seat can be height adjusted in order to give more leg room. I’m 6 ft. Also, do the drivers seat rotate? Thanks for your response back.
I don't know. Since I don't work for the dealership or manufacturer, I won't be back any day soon.
Seats BOTH swivel !
I love it.perfect size for me and my 3 Lil furbabies
First thing I would buy would be drawer latches.
I love it ! Is this still available to come look at in person?
If nothing else, the exterior seems to offer a low drag planform, everything nicely tapered.

They do offer a porcelain toilet on the upgraded unit as well as european style cabinet doors and a few other small things..
I still want one. If you buy a budget Thor motorhome you have to be ready to fix stuff. Duct tape?
Which model is the brown one next to this one?
It looks lifted and I like the bull bar.
I don't know.
All wheel drive, mercedes should give RV the chassis and not only for Van
The out door shower 😂 ,,
@@ronnaveau4801 I love my outdoor shower.

I want one! I am saving my pennies.
The entrance door is not wide
Wide enough for me!
My goodness pan out, I don't need to see the fly on the wall!
I do!
Maybe zoom out a little????
If you buy a thor expect to get a thor ass in you wallet
Can you be anymore of a fan boy, jeez
oh geez.

I am 100% the opposite. I only look for Ford Transit RVs
