Such an awesome idea Brian! I have been considering a Peak vise for years as I have only heard good things about them. I recently even got to try one out at a tying event…sadly my extreme ocd kicked in making me reconsider. See, most of my tying is done on Intruder style shanks and that means that the vise would have to rest (for lack of a better word) horizontally. And my ocd needs a vice that is vertical…stupid, I know…but I just can’t 😢

Just a suggestion in case you decide to change the artwork, just leave the excess masking tape untrimmed. It won’t affect the part to be painted. Also, you didn’t have to remove any parts. Just cover them with tape. Best wishes from a lazy tyer.
