And I have the mixture for this one the bananas ( I bought banana pudding for this too) I’m just curious if it tasted a lil eggy and if I should just do 3 eggs I made it with the 4 eggs and banana putting, I also chopped up banana and mixed it with the pudding and lemme tell u that is DELICIOUS

I always butter my pans with my fingers, then shake a little flour around the whole pan until its all coated and no butter is showing, my cakes always come out perfectly clean that way ☺ Dolly Parton and Elvis Presley Collab Cake would be sooooo good!
Haven’t tried the cake mix. I think I’d like it because I also love candied banana flavor. Duncan Hines has always been my go to cake mix. That being said I almost never use canned frosting because it’s so easy to make homemade butter cream. Recently I needed frosting in a pinch and picked up this exact butter cream. I didn’t care for it but I’ve never cared for canned frosting so if you’re used to it it’s probably just fine. I’ll have to try the cake mix. Thanks for the review! 😊

I found this cake mix a few weeks ago at my Walmart. I'm going to make these for my niece's birthday next month, except making them into cupcakes and frosted with homemade bananas buttercream frosting.

Hey lady. I noticed both your Dolly Parton cakes had sunk in the middle. Cakes usually sink in the middle when you open the oven door before the cake is fully baked.
My son wants a baked Alaska for his birthday with a banana strawberry cake layer, so I bought this flavor and going to make strawberry sauce and swirl it through. Ice cream flavor will be superman.
I haven't had the banana yet, but the coconut flavor is amazing too!! I have a box of this and I'm thinking about taking some pudding and making a poke cake. Crumbling some nilla wafers on top.
Looks really good, but I know what Kevin is saying about artificial flavor….I guess some are better than others like when buying vanilla! When doing two layers I like using a scale. Much easier to assure even layers, and smooth tops and tap on counter a few times to get those large bubbles out which I think happened to one of the layers. I agree they didn’t give enough icing and I think a 13x9 pan is the best! Great job Tami❣️ I first saw this product introduced by Dolly Parton on the Rachel Ray show! Love Dolly❣️ I’m still a big fan of Betty Crocker mixes though….get the best rise from their cake mixes and use in my cake mix hacks! 🙂

I made cake with the vanilla frosting I bundt pan. I added walnuts to the cake and on top of the frosting. The cake flavor is delicious. I would have preferred it to be more moist. Is there a way for me to add a picture of my cake?
So where did you get this cake at I cannot find Dolly Parton Duncan Hines banana cake anywhere. I even called them and they told me I will have to get it off of a website get a kit. I'm not willing to pay that much for a duncanine cake. 😒😔
Kevin is spot on about the artificial banana taste. I could tolerate the first piece even though the fake banana taste was there it was still good but I don’t think I will be going back for seconds. I’d give it a 3 out of 5.

You didnt make Dolly's banana cake. That is the box picture. You are supposed to put banana pudding in the middle. Like a Boston Cream Pie but with Banana Puddiing. Then you have enuff to frost the outside.
Nobody can afford to buy her cake mixes and icing its so high. All the money she has looks like people would try and help out the poor a little bit. So Betty Crocker you can get for 1.99 alot or cheaper
