If you want them to rise up higher do not twist your biscuit cutter, just press it down and lift it up. When you twist it you seal the sides and prevent the layers from rising up higher and becoming more fluffy in the middle.

Can you please tell me. I just bought he Dolly Pardon BB mix. But i only want to make about 3 Biscuits and save the rest for another time, Do you know how i would divide it. I set out a cup and one half. How much milk and butter would i use. If you know what i mean. Please . Or im just gonna try and figure it out.
Unfortunately, it’s a onetime mix.

Funny story for you my friend....I was OVER 9 months pregnant, mama made a delicious supper of fried chicken, homemade french fries and a stunning salad...oh yea...homemade buttermilk biscuits. I ate so many biscuits, and everything else I was about to explode. My friend Rhonda had joined us that evening, also. We decided to go for a walk, more of a waddle....up the street a dog started chasing us....I grabbed my huge stomach and off we ran! My friend Rhonda was ahead of me saying..."run Cinda, run"....kind of like Forrest Gump! So....every time I see buttermilk biscuits this comes to mind!

Those came out really good! I'm not a biscuit person... (I'd rather have a bagel, english muffin, or a kaiser roll!) I've made them a few times, but I can't get them to rise high and flaky like that. (I can make good scones though!)

I skipped the rolling pin and added 1/3 cup butter. I also made 5 giant biscuits instead of the 14 lol

These are more expensive than the pilsbury ones too… I agree you aren’t saving any time over making from scratch. These would not be something I’d buy…

It seems like all of her Duncan Hines products are basic, average, nothing special things…in cute boxes. Whoever designed the boxes did a great job.
