Fond memories of Mrs. Dalloway. Read it when I was studying abroad in London and the class went on a walking tour that followed Mrs. Dalloway’s path through London that she takes in the book.
You hair is just gorgeous Lexi!! I'm so glad you enjoyed Mrs Dalloway, I'm about to read To The Lighthouse for university so if you've read it I would love to hear your thoughts. 🤗📚
Mrs. Dalloway is such a gem. I loved it so much. That's true though, this book requires 100% focus to understand the narration smoothly. A room of one's own by her is really good for beginners who want to venture into her writing
Just love your videos Lexi! I’m an elementary librarian and the majority of my reading life is middle grade and picture books. But you have reignited my love and excitement for YA and adult as well. Thanks for your beautiful videos. Also, where is your shirt from? It’s so super cute!!
Lexi I love your channel so much, I even love your sponsorships! Every sponsorship is like a commercial and it is super fun to watch each one. I just have a silly question...Are you a perfectionist? I am only asking because everything you post is perfect! Thanks for all your hard work.
I'm also obsessed with Mrs Dalloway and Virginia herself. Oh, if you enjoyed Mrs Dalloway, I'd recommend reading "The Hours" by Michael Cunningham if you haven't yet :))
Hello from Denmark 🙋♀️🙂 I LOVE how diverse your reading is! So much inspiration. And I also love that tastes are different - I did n o t like The Maidens…… 🙃 Thank you and Kind regards. Hanne
Great reviews! You’ve hit the nail on the head with recommending Mrs Dalloway. I totally expected not to finish it but ended up really enjoying it. Love your channel! ☮️♥️
I absolutely LOVED the mighty heart of sunny st James. I read it in June and it ended up getting me so much on a personal level, way more than I expected too, and I ended up crying and just loving it so much. 5 stars, new favourite for sure. I also just finished House Of Hollow (so in July) and again absolutely loved it. Love the creepy weird vibes so much
I legit just saw the post a minute ago then you pop up! It's 6 o'clock here in the uk! Also thank you once again for another video 😊 it's always a pleasure to watch and support 💖
My favorite read of June was definitely The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton (though that's not saying much since I only read 2-3 books, but I did really really like it!)
I absolutely love your outfit! Your rainbow outfits and makeup have been on point this month! Anyway back to books :) The Maidens was already high on my TBR but since you loved it, I want to read it RIGHT NOW! I think my favorite read of June was Jurassic Park. I also really enjoyed The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman.
I'm currently obsessed with the Shatter Me Series. It is extremely fast paced and well executed. I am also a fan of The Selection Series and I just picked up her new Series about the queens called the Betrothed
Love you, Lexiii! 🥰🥰🥰 Also, if you are going to read Cold Hearted, (per the author) it’s best to read the series in order. I almost made the mistake of reading them out of order…but I think they are all woven together by their order. I have been wanting to read Virginia Wolf for forever. Mrs. Dalloway sounds good & I think I own it! Happy Reading! 🤓📚✨
Miseducated by Brandon Fleming was my favorite book of June. Loved it! As a side note, I’m usually a silent subscriber but I wanted you to know that your videos always bring me so much joy!
BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS: The selection by Keira Cass The white monarch series by Jessica Hawkins Born in blood Mafia Chronicles by Cora Reilly Off Balance Series by Lucia Franco (All of these are so good, i can't)
A few book recommendations from my late-June/early July reads: - Under The Never Sky series by Veronica Rossi (dystopian/romance) - The Grace Year by Kim Liggett (similar themes to The Handmaid’s Tale, Lord of the Flies, Romeo and Juliet and The Hunger Games) - Birthmarked series by Caragh M. O’Brien (dystopian/a bit of romance) - The Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera (Thought-provoking/moving/romance/LGBTQ+)
My favorite read this month was The Nature of Witches by Rachel Griffin. It has become one of my all time favorite books! Also my mind was blown at the beautiful cover when you take off the book sleeve.
it’s incredible how at least three times during the video i related 100% with what you said. you’re absolutely amazing and your videos make my day! and you make me wanna read every single book you show. ❤️
Love the video as always and I love your new hairstyle! 😀 I can't choose a favourite book from June because I loved nearly every book I read that month! I read a few books in the Throne of Glass Series and loved them! I also really enjoyed the Wicked Deep. I loved The Invisible Life of Addie Larue. I also loved Where the Crawdads Sing, by Delia Owens! sdjhkhjgkbakjbekbdkb yeah ... June was a good month for books 😂
LEXI!!!!! “The Maidens” blew my mind also the Ending was insane!!! It took me TWO Days to finish that book which is Super Quick for me..,🥰… oh one more thing… YOUR LIBRARY… is EVERYTHING 🥰💕💕
My favorite parts in Mrs. Dalloway are the discussions around mental health and asylum. It’s kind of parallel to her own life. I really recommend the movie it’s about Virginia Woolf and the book. You will love it!!
Wow you have sold me on Mrs. Dalloway! It’s a classic I have been meaning to read for years and now I want to prioritize it this year! Also my sis and I have a book club together and we have The Maidens on our list so I am happy to hear you enjoyed it! Have aw beautiful day!😊☀️

agree on the audiobook for A Darker Shade... I read it physically alongside the audio. Don't remember whether I gave up on the audio or not, but did decide that I wanted to read the sequels on e-book rather than audio
I have about 75 more videos to watch before I get to the end of your videos, can you believe it? I may just watch them all before I go to California. I'm hoping to get through them all before my mom comes at the end of this month. I think I can make it happen, so I am very excited about it. Can't wait for this to come... I think I'm gonna stop here for today, though, because I've been watching Pris and Jade on sprints for some time now and I don't wanna stop on an uneven number (or it's always uneven but you know what I mean... 20 or 25 is better than 21 or 27... for my brain... lol) I will definitely be back tomorrow and will be working on as many videos as possible so that I can get to the last one before the next video on Thursday. Not sure I can do this, though. Maybe I can finish before Sunday, but maybe not Thursday. We'll see... Have a good evening and night. Can't wait for tomorrow! LOL
Great Video Lexi your outfit is too cute and I love your hair the way it’s curled and my favorite books I’ve read are The whole Grisha Verse Books Leigh Bardugo is my new favorite author & right now I’m currently reading Unbirthday by Liz Braswell and really enjoying it have you read any of the Disney Twisted Tale Books? and if you have which one is your favorite? My favorite June read was Grace will lead us home. It is about the Charleston South Carolina massacre inside mother Emmanuel Church. I’m originally from Charleston South Carolina so the story hit really close to home. But it’s a beautiful story about forgiveness and hope for the future.
The Grace Year (Kim Liggett) was my favorite June read. YA dystopian that has Handmaid's Tale meets Lord of the Flies meets Hunger Game vibes. Definitely a dark read but has a lot of female empowerment, "pull another woman up" messaging in it. Good on audiobook as well! Close second was Miracle Creek (Angie Kim). This one was a mystery/thriller based around a fire that broke out in a hyperbariac oxygen chamber killing two people and injuring more. Lots of tough topics addressed here like raising handicapped children, living with autism, being an immigrant parent, dealing with infertility in a marriage, and more.
I too had read 8 books with 2 to finish when I filmed my June wrap up video on the 27th . I managed to read 9 books for the month of June. My favorite book read in June is a tie - "A Court of Mist and Fury" by Sarah J. Maas and "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by Maurene Goo. They both received a 5 star rating.

(Can't speak for ADOSM as I have not read it and don't really intend to.) That said I still enjoy her writing a lot.
Hi Lexi! I loved House Of Hollow too. Yesterday I finished reading Bunny by Mona Awad and let me tell you it was INSANE 🤣,sooo much weirder and darker than house of hollow! If you like weird stuff you'll definitely like it. I'd like to know what you think of it!👀🐰
