Last month I've tried a new outdoor activity: river kayaking . And I've got addicted to it. I just can't wait for the next day on the water.

We've paddled downstream on a calm, plain river. Everything is so peaceful, so quiet. Amazing autumn scenery, beautiful nature just 20 minutes away from a busy European capital city.
The river is called "Neajlov" and it's situated 30km south of Bucharest, Romania. We've paddled around 11km, on rental kayaks, from "Singureni" village to "Calugareni" village.

You could bring your own kayak and use the .gpx file for navigating but I would recommend you to rent a kayak instead and join an organized group trip like we did. The guys from Wild Romania (wildromania.ro/ ) organized our tour and everything was just perfect.
The guides explain to you everything you need to know before you start kayaking. So, even if you are also a beginner, I'm sure that you will enjoy this outdoor activity as much as we did.
