    Is it safe? It doesn’t seem like there’s much room on the side? Great Job! I want to climbs that one day. Thank you for the video!!!

      @@Matthewdupree-hu6jk it's a great piece of road, I hope you will get the chance to ride it or at least drive. To answer your question: it's as safe or unsafe as you make it. Like any other big alpine road out there if you descend it within your capabilities it will be ok but if you want to take risks and go faster than you can controll then...it's on you :-)

      @@Matthewdupree-hu6jk I would say late June (if they clear the snow in time) or early July + September. July and August it's warm and nice but don't go on weekends as it's packed with cars

In unii ani e deschis chiar si in octombrie/noiembrie dar depinde foarte mult de vreme.

      well Stelvio is a great piece of road, all the 3 options to do it. I did it (by bike from Bormio and with a car on the other 2 sides). Transfagarasan is not that high but has something special about it...highly recommend you to come some day in the future.

    Only been to the top (twice) in the cable car, and the weather has always been cold and damp even in summer. I'm planning to ride it this year. What gearing did you ride this climb and paltinis?

      hey Rob... I only have 50/34 with 11-28 on my road bike so i'm climbing everything with that. Good luck with the weather next time, it's beautiful when it's sunny up there

    Helo guys ! on a scale of 1 to 10 how hard can be to climb it from this side ? i mean that elevation scares me very much 😆😆 i m a noobie yet

    • @MySTREETvideos
      @MySTREETvideos  11 місяців тому +1

      hey there, well I would say that the scale depends on each one training level and how hard are you actually pushing to get to the top. So it's quite a personal scale. For me personally it would be a 7 and the reason for this is that it's a long climb with high elevation difference but not with a verry difficult slope (7-8 % in general).
