(Japanese for "What?") since this game was made in japan Yaripon = Yari = Spear in japan Yumipon = Yumi = Bow in japan Tatepon = Tate = Shield in japan Kibapon = Kiba = Cavalry in japan in the beginning of the game,your default name would be Kami,Kami is God in japan.
i am very confused. I can enter fever easily, Can keep fever easily as long as I am moving, attacking, or defending. but as soon as I touch the don drum fever immediately drops it wont even let me finish the combination
First part of the vid was interesting; it sounded like the Patapons were about to collapse from thirst, then FEVER kicks in, then the Rain Miracle dance, and the tide turns completely. I like that part a lot.
rain/cyclone allows your patapons to go near to prey without chasing them off. cyclone specifically allows you to shoots missiles further, deflect enemy missiles and zap enemy with random lightning.
when you get to the fever part press the (x) button or Don sound as many times the game is asking you and then just keep pressing ( O ) button or Pon sound in the entire rain dance song and dont mind the (pata) part, just keep pressing ( O ) button.
you have to get the compass first: go to the patata plain, do "PATA PATA PATA PON" at least 3 times until you see a "pole" that says "triangle, circle, triangle, circle", then do what it says: TRIANGLE-CIRCLE-TRIANGLE-CIRCLE, WAIT-WAIT-WAIT-WAIT(then it grows on the 4th "wait/beat"), TRIANGLE-CIRCLE-TRAINGLE-CIRCLE, WAIT-WAIT-WAIT-WAIT repeat it until the compass pops out of the "pole"..
I can't get the rain miracle to work again.... I got it the first time, but now i'm just standing in the desert and every time i try my fever fizzles out. lol.

Oh! You talked about those ancient weapons. It's all about luck. You have to defeat the whole games final boss to get an ancient weapon. You might get any weapon from it and it can be repeated infinite times, but it can become very hard.
Yea, on your army selection screen, press triangle to get to your equip screen for equipping each individual unit. Then press 'select' when highlighted on thte unit you want to delete, and there you go. Make sure you unequip your guy first
if in my case, i would build up fever first b4 i cross the talking signboard, using the defence song. After that u just need to maintain fever or u'll get fry faster. Normally the rain last for 15 commands or less (i didn't really count it, sum 1 told me) before u have to perform miracle again.
Oh i get it now. Wind dance helps if you need to use archers or what not especially in that particular level since the wind is blowing against you. Earthquake throws that crab off balance. Rain because the desert can harm you otherwise. Cyclone i don't know tho.

well, if you use one of those awesome game saves, you don't really need it, but you have to go through that level quickly, because even the best armored guys nearly die
Those are Divine weapons and armor. Get Tom Kanpon... he's a goldsmither. Then use mythril and DON'T FAIL with the rythm, you'll get a random divine item.

if you kill the golden motiti in the swamp, u get a special item that lets go go fight a boss much like the one in the desert. beat that level and you'll get the wind juju. as for the rest, i have no idea, not that far yet..haha
They should of made a guitar hero with this same concept: a rhythm guitar game where you have to save a tribe and your village from monsters through playing guitar music.

trick is to every time you get to fever again, do the miracle again, restarting it...
you don't need to unequip, only the patapon dies, and it is automatically de-equipped

They are hacked weapons. He used CWcheat to get them (requires custom firmware).
There's also a save at GameFAQs that you can download that has them.

Patapon 2 should have put in a Patapon editor, basically you make your own Patapon from other Patapon and test it out on the field

and for some more bad news you have to perform 2 rain juju to get across the desert.
you need to work on your halfbeats, overall it's a good guide to those who don't know how to activate the miracles, keep it up!
