Yep I had a 4 cylinder Sonoma, inline 5 Colorado, and now a V6 Canyon and a 4 cylinder Mitsubishi Mighty Max before that I love my small trucks. Just trying to confirm a good cat back duel exhaust that sound barely above stock so not too loud for my 3.6L V6 Canyon. Any recommendations?
Oh that exhaust note. SUPER glad I found this because I've been looking for an exhaust for mine. AND, bonus, I see a CA license place which means carb compliant (I'm in CA, too). Jesus, that sound.
Sounds a lot nicer than stock - not obnoxious or too raspy... Personally, I'd keep the stock system around in case you get rid of the truck and the new exhaust system sale might help fund a mod on your next vehicle...
Scott Warmbier It sounds nice. I plan on keeping the old system for that very reason. It's fairly quiet until you romp on it. It was loud with the windows open and decent with the windows rolled up. It definitely adds a sporty flair.
I put the same system in my Z71 19 today, Well my exhaust shop did it for 80 and welded it out. sounds kick ass. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself in the driveway.. Kinda expensive. Corsa will not just sell you the muffler and tip which i thought was BS.
I like the sound of the exhaust! Better than Flowmaster or Magnaflow exhaust sounds. Just curious... where did you get those Chevrolet logo rear mudguards?
Thanks for the vid. When you removed the factory exhaust which way did it come out? Was it muffler down and forward so the pipe off the resonator came over the rear axle toward the front or did you take the muffler rearward over the rear axle?
Harrigan Vonstudly Yes, the exhaust assembly was pushed towards the front of the car. I had to rotate it and then pushed the tip over the axle carefully not to damage any of the lines on the axle.
Here ya go. Be sure to verify if this fits your application and year before you order. justboltons.com/corsa-sport-cat-back-polished-tips-for-2017-2018-gmc-canyon-extended-cab-long-bed-3-6l-v6-14745/
Hey, I like the video. Great job on the truck! Quick question about the exhaust. How does it sound in the higher rpms? Most exhaust options make it sound like an import car over 3500rpms. The corsa exhaust was the only one I've seen that seem to hold onto that deeper sound longer. I just want to make sure before dropping that much money on the catback. Thanks!
i dont like you!! lol (kidding of course) i already love the truck!! now you made it even better?? love the videos keep them coming much appreciated!!!
Laz C Thank you Laz. Soon I'll be changing the recovery hooks from black to red. I received them in the mail today damaged. I have ordered them from my local dealer and will have them tomorrow. I'll try to make a video on that.
I've heard one s10 in my entire life that sounded decent with 40 series flowmasters on it I think but I love the 2jz supras and a lot of other inline 6s in cars. Not sure why they sound so different
BG Customs youre expecting a v8 sound out of a v6. Thats why your dumb ass cant hear a good v6. Thats like expecting a guitar to sound like a drum and because you like the sound of a drum better, all guitars sound like shit.
i apologize if you stated it in the video, but what muffler came in that kit? I'm looking to just swap out the muffler and not buy the whole cat back kit... thanks bud nice truck! 👍👍
When the old muffler was removed and he started it with a *muffler delete* why did he say that he didn't want to keep it running very long, is it not good to remove the muffler off of it because that is what my Colorado is
Sarkis Sorfazian they say that it an mess the valves up running it with an open exhaust, but I don’t believe that because there are plenty of people that run much higher horsepower engines without mufflers.
Also, overall how happy are you with the interior of your Colorado compared to Ford products. I'm considering looking at GM products after not owning one for almost 30 years - my impression has been that they always felt unfinished or "cheap" - I'm not talking about Corvette - they really have gotten way better in the past few years...
Scott Warmbier I'm pretty happy with it. The dash is made of hard touch plastics compared to my old F150's soft touch dash. However price wise they are close to $20,000 apart. I do like the smaller size of the Colorado. It's easy to park, fits in my garage nicely and is pretty powerful. I took a ride in it last night and under full throttle the traction control light was flashing 😇
We're just looking at downsizing our cars - the wife drives a '17 Explorer Platinum and I have a '16 Edge Sport which is the same spec as you had except for the color - I had a Platinum White Tri-coat 2011 this time I had the "Too Good To Be Blue" - and not really in love with the color but can't complain about much else (I'm getting 24MPG combined with over 27MPG on road trips. I may seriously look at a Grand Sport for my 50th - I really think the spec of your Z06 is about perfect. Thanks again and let us know what you are driving next ;-)
The Car Crazy Guy I checked the site, they only show it working for “15-16 Chevy Colorado”, i guess i’ll have to look a little deeper for a specific answer. Maybe forums
Over 24,000 views which is more than Corsa's own UA-cam video ua-cam.com/video/6CWu28LM-cw/v-deo.html
Awesome!! I'm definitely doing the black badges too!!
Straight pipe sounds sick
Nice sound!
Love these trucks. I've previously owned a 3.5 Ecoboost and 5.0 F150, and I enjoy driving my Canyon alot more, hands down.

I painter my Chevy bows ...came out great . I wanted mine to be completely blacked out .
Powder coat black high gloss the rims. FIRE!!!
BLACK PAW COLORADO The Colorado has been gone nearly a year.
Black bowties are a nice touch
Trim removal tool got the front bow tie off in literally 10 seconds.and new one pops right in 😂
All you need is some piano wire....or guitar string , heck even fishing wire would do it. Just warm up the emblem to soften the glue.
The rear bowtie is easy to mask off and paint. The front pops of making it easier the mask off 5 dollars in black paint done!
Sounds really good
Appreciate that. I now have a Silverado RST with a 6.2L V8. It needs an exhaust
Oh that exhaust note. SUPER glad I found this because I've been looking for an exhaust for mine. AND, bonus, I see a CA license place which means carb compliant (I'm in CA, too).
Jesus, that sound.
Is it Cali compliant? I believe it is. It wasn't loud at all.
Sounds a lot nicer than stock - not obnoxious or too raspy... Personally, I'd keep the stock system around in case you get rid of the truck and the new exhaust system sale might help fund a mod on your next vehicle...

0:38 vs 2:19
Could you please share the link on where to buy the entire kit
Thanks
Oh hell Yah !
We need a video of how it sounds while driving. Really tempted to get this...
Tony Bauer I sold the truck last month. Sorry.
The Car Crazy Guy ahhh. How was it while driving? Was there any drone? A lot of other companies’ offerings sound pretty ricer tbh
Why did you sell the truck?
I put the same system in my Z71 19 today, Well my exhaust shop did it for 80 and welded it out. sounds kick ass. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself in the driveway.. Kinda expensive. Corsa will not just sell you the muffler and tip which i thought was BS.
The whole system was pretty easy to install, even without a lift. Not cheap though.
I know this is an old comment, but how was interior drone?
I like the sound of the exhaust! Better than Flowmaster or Magnaflow exhaust sounds. Just curious... where did you get those Chevrolet logo rear mudguards?
bad ass truck... love that sound
Omar Cazares Thank you
This Looks and Sounds Awesome... How bad is it in the inside when you are listening to Music?
Sounds good at idle, but the problem I have is when V6's rev up they sound too ricey....
This one does not. I don't know how but the got the sound perfect. Just $$$.
@@jamesnoland3293 , what brand and model is that exhaust?
I'd imagine just removing the resonator would produce a better sound than stock
Thanks for the vid. When you removed the factory exhaust which way did it come out? Was it muffler down and forward so the pipe off the resonator came over the rear axle toward the front or did you take the muffler rearward over the rear axle?
Harrigan Vonstudly Yes, the exhaust assembly was pushed towards the front of the car. I had to rotate it and then pushed the tip over the axle carefully not to damage any of the lines on the axle.
Does this exhaust have any drone inside the cab at highway speeds??
When you removed the exhaust, how far back did you remove it , was the cats still there?
May I suggest the addition of a rear anti-sway bar? The handling improvement is very noticeable.
David Szakacs I definitely want one. Who makes them?
Hellwig
Looks like I'm straight piping and not getting this!
Sounds good! Can you put a link where I can pick one up?

That z06 tho
Did I hear correctly? Did you say you think it has an air locker? If you have a true locker it will be electric not air

What is that exhaust called I'm looking for something like that it sounds nice bro
It literally says it in the description and in the video

Can you put the link to the bow
Wait lessen to John Vesely exhaust video comparison
I straight piped mine. I have fake cats and mufflers. Mines duals coming out in front of both rear tires it looks and sound nasty. Up next a big cam
tactical 23 guns & reviews they make cams for the Colorado??
Sounded pretty good until you revved it. I haven't heard an aftermarket exhaust yet that makes a V6 truck sound decent.
BG Customs how do we put a 370z exhaust on our trucks lol
I've heard one s10 in my entire life that sounded decent with 40 series flowmasters on it I think but I love the 2jz supras and a lot of other inline 6s in cars. Not sure why they sound so different

i apologize if you stated it in the video, but what muffler came in that kit? I'm looking to just swap out the muffler and not buy the whole cat back kit... thanks bud nice truck! 👍👍
Mondo357 Specifically what muffler I'm not sure. It was part of the kit. Sorry I couldn't give you an exact answer.
The Car Crazy Guy my bad I thought it was a borla exhaust i want to purchase a universal muffler w/o the whole cat back kit
I just did a muffler swap and some tips. I used black widow exhaust muffler very easy to line up with the stock exhaust going over the axle
When the old muffler was removed and he started it with a *muffler delete* why did he say that he didn't want to keep it running very long, is it not good to remove the muffler off of it because that is what my Colorado is

Hey, Bro. Could you let me know where you bought those black bow ties? They look great.
Sebastian Aleman I purchased them from online from a Chevy dealer. They are available as an accessory.
You can order them on Amazon
will this fit the 2015 v6 Colorado? this has the best sound I've heard
They make one for the 2015 model year. It’s a different part number then the one I listed. Go online and check it out.

Scott Warmbier Awesome. Let me know what you buy next.
I have a 2017 GMC canyon and the interior is a little bit better than the chevy.one reason why i went GMC.
YOURE FROM SANTA CLARITA? DUDE I LIVE RIGHT UNDER CANYON HIGH SCHOOL
Jonathan Suhy I’m in Valencia!
Sounds excellent! Have the cops came after you with the new exhaust law
I sold the truck last year. It wasn't loud at all.
Why you sell it
cold air intake next???
Juan Guzman I don’t think that’s something I will be doing.
where did you buy that exhaust ?
justboltons.com
I just bought a 2018 Z71 Centennial Edition and I don't like the upgrade exhaust sounds I think a waste of money.
awesome looking exhaust!!...what is the inlet size of the stock exhaust?
I'm not sure. I sold the truck.
Will the corsa exhaust fit on a ‘19 ZR2?
I'm not sure. Check Corsa's website for fitment.

Sounds kinda like Ben efleck talking lol
Aflac?
Where did you find this exhaust for 650!?
Shawn ridgeway I paid $660 shipped last July from www.justboltons.com
@@TheCarCrazyGuy you paid 660?!?!?!?! What
one word "flowmaster"
does this kinda mod fuck the warranty?
mark poznak The only warranty it invalidates is the warranty on the exhaust.
Two wheel drive Z71?
Yep, Chevy makes them.
Yeah they are just nicer than a regular 2 wheel drive
@@ashvlogz_8049 Definitely
Are those factory mud flaps?
They sure are.
The Car Crazy Guy take a look at my video page at my 2015 Colorado exhaust and let me know what you think.
probably not the best spot for your glasses?
Definitely not, however they survived :)
It's still not a V8
No shit
