- Everyone with a pickup knows how much rear overhang they have, and most of the time it doesn't help off-road. In this video we install an Octane Series rear bumper to help protect that part of the bed, which also includes step cut-outs, provisions for (2) 3" light pods, and a hidden hitch! Check it out!

What was the verdict for towing weight? Did you find a solution?
They said the hitch on the bumper is for light duty, like bike racks. I ended up cutting the bottom and fitting a real hitch underneath. It worked great for towing my trailer and Samurai to the trail.
Any chance you can do a video of the hitch you installed? Do you think you can still tow the 7k the factory hitch can ?
How do you plan on using the hitch if it’s behind the license plate?
The license plate holder I had folded down
@@FortuneOffRoad so, essentially you have no visible plate while towing yikes. I think I’ll just wait and get the Bison bumper. I love the video though and appreciate your response.
How about front bumper removal and replacement video? Having problem finding one
Wish I could help! I don't own the truck anymore.
Looks good! I also have the Colorado lt, but I put the fab fours vengeance bumpers on mine. Do you have skid plates yet?
Thanks dude! How do you like those bumpers? No skids yet, hopefully soon though, its on the list. 🤙🏻
Fortune Off-Road I love the look of mine and how light weight they are but am disappointed I don't have a winch mount but guess it would add a fair amount of weight. Also no shackle mounts on the veangence bumpers as they are more pre runner style. I do have rigid backlit pod light and light bar they are awesome. Yes skid plates are on the list for me as well as upsizing my tires!!! Keep up the great videos bro!!!
@@kodypilger I was just looking at them, they look great. Its hard to find a bumper that has it all.
Yea I agree sometimes you sacrifice one thing for another. Are you planning on taking your truck on any trails soon?
I really hope so! We're trying to at least get the bed rack and rooftop tent on before we go. It's still really cold here, which I don't mind, but the kid definitely can't be cooped up in the text all day if they weather goes south. We're at least going to go do some light trails in the mean time!
Bro, you need a face shield.
I've got one, just need to wear it! 🤕
@@FortuneOffRoadJust looking out. Not a good time to go to the ER. 😉
@@klumsytone it's funny you say that. I went to the ER the next day for having a tiny piece of metal in my eye. I had glasses on damn it! Visual proof here! 😄
Especially when you use sockets that aren't impact rated (impact sockets are black). You don't want a socket exploding in your face..
Only down side you get in a wreck and mess up bumper and they don't make it anymore 😂
That's true! Luckily this one is pretty stout and I also have some fabrication ability... not a lot, but some!
This is a long shot but is the stock bumper for sale still.
Both have been sold.
I’m not a Chevy Guy but that looks good.
Thanks dude! We are liking it so far. 🤘🏻
