Ay, finally, a fakemon video that delve into the mechanical stuff, not that i fully understand everything but i love imagining how these fakemons does in actual battles
I agree with the guy above me. I generally think ground fairy is just better overall. Its significantly better offensively by hitting 8 types instead of 6 for super effective, hitting better types for super effective(fire, electric, poison, steel vs ice and fairy), and being basically unresisted compared to steel fairy being resisted by two typings. This isn’t talked about nearly enough, two types resisting your dual stab is very average if not below average. The reason this typing has been so good offensively is that the users of the typing have always been given fighting coverage moves, making it seem better than it actually is. Meanwhile ground fairy is essentially unresisted besides flying mons with secondary poison, fire, or steel typings which is an absolutely insane offensive presence. Defensively steel fairy is definitely better no doubt, but I don’t think the gap is as large if you look specifically. Fairy steel has 8 resistances, a 4x resistance to bug, two immunities and two weaknesses. Ground fairy has 4 resistances, two immunities, and four weaknesses. Definitely a lot better for fairy steel but if you look at the types resisted and weak to I think ground fairy looks better than first appears. Looking at resistances both resist bug, rock, and dark and have a dragon immunity. Then steel fairy resists normal, flying, ice, grass, psychic, fairy, and has a poison immunity while ground fairy resists fighting and has an electric immunity. This is significantly better for steel fairy but a couple things should be pointed out. First is that flying, grass, psychic and poison are all generally bad offensive typings. Some are definitely better than others but overall they are below average to terrible. Meanwhile the two resistances ground fairy gets are to fighting(the most common and arguably best offensive type in the game) and electric which is a much better offensive type to be immune to than poison. To be fair, ice and especially fairy are really good to resist and that shouldn’t be understated. Then the weaknesses. Again it looks much better for steel fairy with only 2 weaknesses instead of 4 but fire and especially ground are awful types to be weak to while steel and grass aren’t very good offensively. I’d say the water, ice, and steel weaknesses about equal the fire and ground weaknesses which leaves ground fairy with an extra weakness to grass. Again, definitely worse but not significantly worse. My overall point is that I think the gap between the offenses of both types is greater than the gap in the defenses of both types. Having both fire, a top 7-5 type and steel a top 3 type resist your stab combo is genuinely terrible and it kinda ruins the otherwise quite good offenses of fairy steel for me. I think its close, but I think ground fairy is basically the perfect offensive type with a really good defensive typing while steel fairy is the perfect defensive type with a solid offensive typing. Anyway thats just my thoughts tho if anyone actually read all this ur crazy thanks.
Me: *Sees a new fakemon with an unused type combo:* I'm interested to see its design, stats and ability. Also me: *Sees this is a video about competitive battles:* Nevermind. Not interested anymore.
Here's my 3rd Fakemon ! Don't forget to like the video, I might create a battle theme for him 🔥
this would be ubers, my guy forgot about leppa berry
Design is giving ghost instead of fairy, but it's a good design 👍🏼

They should change 1pp moves to once a battle... so if u play a normal pokemon game u dont have to go to the pokecenter
Neat
3:20 Can somebody explain to me what is a "Terra Explosion"?
"Téra Explosion" is the french name for Tera Blast
Yep Sorry I thought it was the same in English 😅
Cool
really good video
Good job mate
the "perfect" dual type is steel/fairy, as their weaknesses cancel each other out very well, with many offensive capabilities + defensive coverage.
Perfect type overall but fairy ground is monstrous offensively
the balloon tinkaton that switched in thinking I was going to earthquake, however it got obliterated into a tinkillion pieces because of temper flare:
By all statistics, the best typing is actually ground/fairy. Steel/Fairy is the second best typing.

Did you stick around to the end? It has art and lore 🤠
I mean like the video is 4 minutes long your attention span can't be that short lmao
@FioreAteACrumpetOnce Yes, I did watch until the end. But when a video is moe focused on competitive battles then I'm not interested anymore.
