Ive had mine for over a yr. Most ppl do not read the instructions. IF you follow the calibration instructions, quit getting in a hurry. READ and FOLLOW instructions it works. Ive found water pipes, electrical lines that ran in all directions. Yes, they are high priced.

Thanks, as I was thinking something was wrong as an object would disappear while I was tracing stuff.

Why did they not make the walabot with its own screen? Pretty silly that you need to hold two devices.

this device is 200$ in the Amazon U.S. but 300$ in Amazon Canada where i live... if you put a screen to this divice you can expect this to be 100$ more for the screen which is already an OVERPRICED device... in my opinion still not worth the price... i will buy when it goes under 100$ Canadian

I suspect it was to keep the cost down

I thought the wireless phone setup would be handier than the old setup with the unit attached to the phone. Now I need a 3rd hanc for the market, phone, and walabot

I mounted two Walabots sensors on my eyeglasses and then when to the mall to check "things" out. I kept getting slapped when I got too close, so I was never able to get any images. A good idea, but not perfected yet.

there needs to be a way to attach the scanner to the back of the phone.

I dont tink will last very long if you need to scratch straight on every wall for calibration the plastic cover will not resist for very long .

Can the wall be too bumpy to work properly? I have a knock down wall and difficulty tracing.

    I bet they're 16 inches apart, 🤔

I bought and tried it and it works great with an Android phone but not so great with an Apple iPhone. I tried it and, yes you can see the stud but it goes by so fast that it's hard to read anything else (with an iPhone). Not yet perfected enough for an Apple device.

That’s odd because my whole video was shot with the iPhone and it worked fabulously

Do your network and electrical wires run from the bottom up to the sockets? I'm curious as the device did not appear to detect wires when scanning the wall above the outlets.

Most of the times electrical wires run horizontal to the boxes. It would be a vertical drop if it’s from the switch to a plug.

@@DIYHGP Thanks for the reply. I was curious as the walabot videos always show cables vertically.

this product is good, but it highly overpriced in Canada is 300$ no way i will pay that much even if i take care of 32 appartement it's not worth it, the price need to go down alot!
But thanks for the video..... i should maybe do videos like this, and maybe get it free to review it myself 🤔

Far too expensive. Looks good but only at half the price.

It’s pricey, but it all depends on your usage. If it’s important to get them exactly right then it’s worth it.
