വീട്ടിൽ മീറ്റർ റീഡിംഗ് എടുക്കാൻ വരുന്ന ആളും മറ്റു ചില KSEB ജോലിക്കാരുമോക്കെ PM Surya Ghar നെതിരെ ശക്തമായി എതിർപ്പ് പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുകയും gross metering, Adani lobby എന്നൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു പേടിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
പിന്നീട് പരിചയത്തിൽ ഉള്ള അത്യാവശ്യം വിവരമുള്ള ഒരു engineer സത്യം പറഞ്ഞു.
KSEB യിലേ പല part time ജോലിക്കാരും യൂണിയനുകളും ഇതുമൂലം ഭാവിയിൽ അവർക്ക് ജോലിനഷ്ടം ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു.
പോരാത്തതിന് ഇതിൻ്റെ implementation നടത്തുന്നത് private പാർട്ടികൾ വഴി ആയതിനാൽ KSEB യിലേ പല വലിയ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർക്കും കിട്ടേണ്ട vendor commission, കൈമടക്ക് മുതലായവ കിട്ടാതെ വരുന്നു.
