      @cowalexplorer I've done a fair bit oh camping in my forester, makes a big difference getting a good night in the car .
      My outback stove did a 29 day nonstop burn 🔥 . I'd go for a clan shell tent on top at night .better to stretch out

    Such apity there seemed to be a load of refuse bags in the ditch lovely spot that some people forget to leave o trace

      @@neilymac1239 think it was bags of trees from planting just above where I was pitched. If it was rubbish I’d have taken it away. 👍 But, still makes the place look untidy. 😕 Thanks for watching.

    I really enjoyed watching your video there, beautiful scenery, that steak was massive going in the pan, but it ended up about half the size lol. Thanks for sharing

    Brilliant park up with amazing scenery 👌I fancy getting an awning for the side of my van , but knowing my luck it'll get wrecked by wind . Hope you get it sorted.

      @@IvanDP1967 cheers. Now bits ordered for pickup and awning, thankfully all can be sorted. The stove pipe should bash out,’will never be perfect but has a story to tell. It’s a stunning wee spot down by the loch. I’ve pitched the tent a few times further up the road. Thanks for watching and contributing to the channel, much appreciated. 👍

    Another nice video, pity about your gear, those pull out awnings can be a bit flimsy. I have the same one I think, I bought anchor points from Temu which allows you to peg the poles down, might help? keep videos coming

      @Campfirelore1 cheers. I have some guy lines that came with awning. I’ve actually bought a front panel too that’s protected against wind and rain but would spoil the view. I’ve now got three weather apps, so will go with the worst forecast when it comes to wind. 😂 Should have taken it down before settling in for the night. New arm ordered for awning so hopefully a simple fix 👍 thanks for watching.

    Probably the best intro I’ve seen I’ve you do. Actually got me thinking “how did you do that”. I’m guessing just having a touch extra time gave you the chance to get the camera angles set up. Cracking spot too. Gutted what you woke up too. Hope it’s easy fixes. ATVB Robert

      @@Moffatmountainadventures cheers Robert. That we bit extra time makes all the difference. I had to record with drone and GoPro. The GoPro for engine noise and travelling the terrain then overlay so it matches up. Was a bit of work 😂 it’s a great location, I’ve camped further up the loch with hot tent and Bobcat before. 👍 All parts ordered for repairs. Got a welder lined up for new bracket for fuel tank!! Ha.     Some backdrop you had there mate, shown off with cracking drone shots. I didn’t think that steak was going into the pan there it was that massive and the whiskey beside the homemade candle holder was brilliant. Bad news about the change of weather, I hope everything gets sorted soon for you. Great watch with and without the talking 👍

Had to record with drone for visual and the GoPro for sound, stuck the mic on the wing of pickup so it picked up the noise of engine and terrain. It’s a stunning bit, only 25 mins away from me. Might as well put those empty cans to use 😂🍺🍺 cheeky wee dram too 🥃 New bracket for chassis and someone to weld it all sorted. New arm for awning ordered too. 👍

My last pickup had a Truckman top and I slept in the back, I’ve been looking for one for this pickup but can’t find one the same colour and not buying new 😂 The beds about 5ft but still roomier than sleeping across the back seat on a platform. It’s cramped but I’ve slept in worse places. 👍 Thanks for watching again 🥃

    Hi. Shame about your camp trip had the same happen to me my tank strap also broke of had to bungie it temperary. Love the location what area is that I don't recognise it.

      @@Kukelski I was ready to just pack up and come home when I noticed the tank, but decided just to stay. It’s the bracket that’s knackered so a new one arriving this week. It’s Loch striven , local to me. Thanks for watching 👍

      @@Scottish-Nomad o don’t like fish 🐟 😂 But I used to fish many years ago with my dad. I’m sure there will be plenty out there. Last time I camped along the road there were fish right in at the shore. It’s a salt water loch so no permit needed at the bit I was at. Maybe I should just do catch and release 🤔 Thanks for watching. 👍

      @@Scottish-Nomad 90% of the time I camp by the sea , loch or a river. I’ve been to some great spots,that’d have been great for fishing 😂 Think I’ve got a telescopic rod (unused) somewhere from when I had my wee boat. Would be easy enough to take on any camping trip. 🤔 Guess it’d just be a spinner job wherever I went.

      @@Alan_McKirdy cheers mainlander. Active track is great…..when it works. Had to record with the GoPro at the same time to get the audio of engine and terrain. For some I used the quick shots options and some manual flying too. It’s a bit of a faff to do, but worth it in the end. Enjoying winning back some daylight these days. A cheeky wee Jura or two 👍

      @ new arm ordered for the awning, only 30 quid so not too bad. Can keep the original one for spares 😂
