But Red had a whole career that made me laugh and he still does. Great "clean" entertainer! Something sadly missing in most comedy today. Thanks!

Forty three years ago I met and Married a Canadian lady, she was working in Louisiana. I traveled to Nova Scotia to ask her father for her hand (P.S. her whole body also). I sat turn with my future in law’s to talk and they were waiting The Red Green Show on TV . So I started watching the show, the man was very funny and had family style jokes. I looked around for his show in the U.S. and had trouble finding him, so I try to watch him anywhere and anyplace I could. He is a great actor and even greater comedian.

There was Jack Benny, George and Gracie, Amos and Andy, Gildersleeve, Fiber McGee and Molly, on Radio PURE GOLDEN COMEDY. Then there was "The King of Kensington," "Smith and Smith," "The Smother's Brothers,' " "Wayne and Schuster," "Carol Burnett," and then T.V. even had "SCTV," and a few more PURE GOLDEN COMEDY. Humour is the BEST Medicine. RED GREEN DESERVES A DOCTORATE. He has truly made Millions and Millions of people well with his humour. This Bit done here was absolutely classic. Love it Steve. :)
