alright time to make like a deltarune theorist and make assumptions before the project is finished:
So from what we’re given so far (to my knowledge), the Snowgrave route was taken during this run and played out, assuming the remakes of Nyctomatter’s VHS tapes are canon, specifically the one about Berdly’s fate. Kris has confronted the player as seen in the prologue, and has possibly erased the player’s grip on them by deleting the data.
There’s also two possibilities regarding the fountains. Either the light world’s fountain is the initiating action and Gaster is interfering directly, or this is a side-effect from Spamton’s interference with the fountain during his battle. It’s possible that Kris, unlike usual, failed to defeat Spamton and is, by proxy, unable to stop The Roaring. Susie and Ralsei both seem worried about something as well, but Spamton gives off an accomplished vibe, he did what he wanted to do and now can only watch. I’m betting our two beloved side-protagonists are getting concerned about who Kris really is, without the player directly controlling their actions (assuming this from the Unaltered community post with gaster and such).
Also possible: Gaster is one of, if not the most powerful titan awoken from The Roaring, or could very well be the only titan, the other ones possibly being his other pieces that were scattered.
I probably forgot a lot because I’m a scared little potato who can’t handle vhs horror so please feel free to correct me.

By the way since the “dark fountain” is in the light world does that mean the secret bosses could go back to being humanoid in the “light world”? (Don’t mind the quotation marks I just don’t know what would things be called when the whole things get flipped upside down and a normally dark world thing would appear in area where it shouldn’t really exist.) Well anyways as an Earthquake might be called a Marsquake on Mars would a dark fountain still be called a dark fountain in the light worl?
