Turkey is safer than many countries in Europe.Don't consider the other people who are always talking about bad side of Turkey.People are very friendly towards tourists and budget-friendly country. Turkey is the center of many different historical civizilations.Thats why you got to see one of the most beautiful countries in the world before die :) I am sure you will not regret !!!

So I've lived in Puerto Rico of the past 4 years. And I've noticed there's a culture here of watching Turkish soap operas translated to the Spanish language. The soap operas are so interesting and the plots so rich that I watch them too. I even decided to go to Turkey last year and fell in love with the country. I don't want to live there but I totally loved my experience.

@@innosanto yes it's only been nearly 600 year's that Turks took over. Persians and Romans have also ruled over this region in history. I don't hear modern day Iranians or Italians saying it's their land. Greeks need to stop whining about stuff that happened centuries ago. The reality is that today it's Turkish land. For my last visit I spent about 48000 turkish Lira (8600$) for a family of 4. Including international flight-renting a car for 28 days - gifts - 12 days in 5 stars hotels in Cesmi-Izmir-Bodrum-Fethyie-Esksehir) and the rest in our own apartment in istanbul.
Compared to my travel to the UK for 14 days between (London- Leeds-Manchester-Liverpool) I spent around 10000$. (Flights are expensive as well as hotels-food)
In most countries you can go extravagant (Like in Bodrum there are hotels for 10k$ per night) or you can spend very little by renting budget hotel or apartments and cooking for your self and using buses.

Turkey is amazing. We have just come back from 2 weeks beach holiday in Bodrum and all the staff at the hotel and at the beach were so friendly with us and they were so helpful and treat us like royals. We went to visit the Bodrum Castle and the ancient site of Ephesus and I must say we felt we were in paradise. We travel to lots of destinations for holiday and Turkey so far is the best. We stay at the Bitez beach in Bodrum and the sun lounges are so colourful and sits right on the edge of the shore and they are all free!!! Unlike Spain, Italy and other major European destinations you have to pay min €20 a day for 3 sun beds and one parasol. Also the food is delicious, we too have only eaten their local food and never wanted anything English or Italian, we were just happy with eating anything off their menu and we are vegan but we managed to find lot of salads, vegs, falafel, off their menu. The Turkish wine is wonderful. And yes we were eating out every night in gorgeous restaurants by the beach and the average for a meal for 3 of us was always about £30 (pounds) including wine served in the bucket. Fantastic.

"The food is the reason I am leaving here" haha. Food is something else in Turkey. Too good! Thanks to my allergies, I won't get fat there. I loved my breakfast at the Galata tower.
Now, I wish I taught English not French so I could become a digital nomad. French is much less demanded online.

You both are amazing. Thank you for convincing me to visit Turkey now, as I was very sceptical about before.
I was wondering if there are beaches to soak in the sun by any sea, river or ocean, and how are gyms there?
May God bless you all 🙏

I am a UK resident living outside Izmir Turkey in a beautiful seaside village called Urla Iskele. I wanted to tell people that my mobile phone only worked here for 4 months before Turkey slapped a 600 tl tax on it and until i paid it my UK phone was disabled to all mobile networks..i decided to buy a Turkish mobile phone instead to solve the problem. Loving your videos and if you ever want a guide for this area ill be more than happy to show you my fav haunts for free.
    Big Love, Rob D.

oh guys really appreciate of your honesty about Istanbul and our culture. I still have loads of questions why people r judging Turkey and our culture and they r extremely harsh. as you have mentioned Istanbul is the top city where you would be able to do and to find anything... I have to add this it is really amazing to see honest people like you who would be very open and very honest regarding their feelings and experiences that you had. thank you very much for sharing this nice video with all of us and showing that you guys are enjoying so much living in Istanbul. Please do visit other cities in Turkey. You will find loads of different side of Turkish culture which you would love more.

Do you teach English online? or do you do other teaching? Can you do a video about that - how you found work, what company/companies you work for, what it's like - pros & cons - how it affects your lifestyle, etc. Thanks!

Yeah, its cheap if you are a working nomad paid in $... Definitely Not cheap if you are local and paid in TL .
Buying force in Turkey is 4 time less than center of Europe, Berlin for example.
