I drove my first Accord 7th Gen for 13 years (brand new off the lot till 130k miles zero issues), traded it in on a 9th Gen Accord Sport CVT, and it has around 100k on it now. Looking to buy a 2021 Accord Touring 2.0t really soon. Cannot wait to get the updated 10th gen 2.0t. I will say, I miss my 7th gen v6 Accord. And I am pretty sure it would have kept going all this time, with minor issues.
@@yarbaystrength My 2016 Accord LX has just under 210k on it, I plan to keep it for a few more years before I make a big upgrade anytime soon. Story time brothers: My wife loves BMW(she has a pristine E39 M5 w/ only 52k miles on it). In 2018, her lease on a 2015 530i came up, but over the years we've just noticed you get less bang for your buck on German lower trim cars vs the midsizers from Honda, Toyota, Mazda, and Kia. So we went out to look at the then-new Camry and Accord. Driving is a large part of what she does daily being in medical equipment sales(especially these days), so the vehicle must be very comfortable, drives well, latest autonomous tech, quiet enough, etc. We first went to Toyota, where she liked the styling of the Camry XSE, but was let down by no Android Auto(at the time), and poor seat comfort. We then went to Honda where she fell in love with the Accord Touring(calling it a knock-off Audi A7🤣), but two things ruined it for her: The NFC badge etched into the fake wood as like fire to her eyes, and the wheels...the freaking wheels. I even offered to change them once we bought the car, but nope, she was not having it. So, back to BMW we went for another 5-Series lease. Interestingly, that vehicle did not have cooled seats, very little autonomous driver aides, no remote start, and no Android Auto. But short on time and liking the styling of the new 5-Series, she got another. Enter 11/6/2020: The lease being up on the BMW, we went back to Honda to check out the updates to the Accord, and viola, we actually bought it(not leased). (We also headed over to Kia to see if the K5 2.5T was available, but it was not). Over the 2018 we considered, this Touring certainly seems quieter, in addition to the other attributes that make the Accord so good. I believe its faster and more efficient than the 530i, and it doesn't drive all that much worse, despite being FWD. The steering is actually better(no surprise, being a Honda). We went with the Radiant Red Metallic and it just sets the car off so good with the new wheels. Overall, we are very impressed thus far.
The headlights were always fully LED for the touring trim but now all trims will have them as standard equipment. Also, the full suite of Honda Sensing has been standard for all trims since 2018.
I just picked up a 20 Touring and yeah the rims looks a lot better in person. This new 21 Touring rim doesn't look all that nice. The blades looks better.
Accord Touring a great car & a good value, though I wish Honda would offer a higher-end sound system on their upper tier models. A very thorough review - as per usual - congrats on getting yet another 1k subs, too! You guys really cranking out great reviews of some really in-demand cars! 😎
Love my 2020 Touring, the only thing after a year of ownership is that I’m still wanting for is a great sound system and AWD, that’s what will have me looking at the TLX S Type or Audi S5 next year. But it still feels very quick and entertaining and looks great to me!

Thanks for the review. These prices keep going up and up. $38K? Well at least it's better then the $50K that Acura is asking for the TLX Advance. I ended up getting a 20 Touring recently for only $32K. I didn't think the changes were enough for me to pay that higher price. I didn't like what they did with the front grille or fog lights. The rims aren't that nice as well. Everything else I could just add on for not that much more money.

Can I ask why does the touring get the extra break lights but not the other models? But all of Canada models have them. That goes for the 2018-2020 accords in the US.
@@Saturdayz_In_The_Fall at least it isn't as bad as what Kia did with their Telluride. Agree. I wish Honda would have refreshed the tail lights. I trade in my Honda accord lease in every 3 years until Honda came out with this accord with those ugly tail lights. But the sonic gray touring is calling my name.
I think that will change in the next generation Accord. Since the new Civic has a Bose system , I would think that the Accord would have a similar quality branded sound system.
Was debating between an accord 2.0 and a Camry XSE recently bought an XSE hopefully Honda quality doesn’t go down with GM buying them out Toyota might soon be the best thanks for putting out great reviews
That sounds similar to the old Honda chimes we used to hear. Does the door chime on the 2021 Accord have the classic "beep-beep-beep-beep" like the older Hondas used to have?
At least the heated steering wheel is available as a dealer installed accessory and will pre-heat when you remote start the vehicle along with the heated seats when it is cold outside.
I just bought the 2021 Sport SE and I’m not sure how I feel about that stop/start thing when you stop. I know I can shut it off and also not activate it by fully depressing the brake pedal, but doesn’t that kill your starter over time? Also, I grew up in the 90’s and was always told it takes more gas to shut your car off and start it back up then just let it idle. I’m sure the Honda team knew what they were doing when they did this but I just can’t see it being something good long term.
Great review guys! I have a question and it is a little abit off topic.....what is the difference between the touring package vs. Elite when it comes to the Honda Pilot 🤔?
On the last-gen refresh, they at least changed the lenses of the rear taillights. They didn't even bother this time. I really wish they would make the entire lighting all-LED, seeing how the Camry XSE/XLE has had them since 2018.(but this is a better car overall though). I guess we should see a total redesign by 2023, the traditional 5 model year Accord cycle.

I have the same car and could not agree more. Sound system is just OK. Should be much better on top of the line model..
Gorgeous vehicle and one of the best automotive values period!
This is the BEST Accord ever made!
I'm thinking about getting one
Was debating between an accord 2.0 and a Camry XSE recently bought an XSE hopefully Honda quality doesn’t go down with GM buying them out Toyota might soon be the best thanks for putting out great reviews
That sounds similar to the old Honda chimes we used to hear. Does the door chime on the 2021 Accord have the classic "beep-beep-beep-beep" like the older Hondas used to have?
All it need is the 360 camera view and a panoramic roof ….
Good video!
That small Mazda like display is looking outdated compared to many that have larger displays .
Could you do a EXL hybrid review please ? Your reviews are really great. Thank you.
We should be reviewing the Hybrid in the next month or so 👍
Finally the front doesn’t look like a unibrow
Looks the same as the last two years. What changed
3db is actually a lot of sound change y’all because you are working with a logarithmic scale.
Beautiful beautiful car
At least the heated steering wheel is available as a dealer installed accessory and will pre-heat when you remote start the vehicle along with the heated seats when it is cold outside.
Was this available in any Right hand drive countries? Wasn't sold in the UK and doesn't seem like they were sold in Japan or Australia either :(
How weel does the seat ventilation work in your opinion? I live in SW Florida
How was it compared to the Avalon TRD in your opinion on an in person fun-to-drive aspect?
I just bought the 2021 Sport SE and I’m not sure how I feel about that stop/start thing when you stop. I know I can shut it off and also not activate it by fully depressing the brake pedal, but doesn’t that kill your starter over time? Also, I grew up in the 90’s and was always told it takes more gas to shut your car off and start it back up then just let it idle. I’m sure the Honda team knew what they were doing when they did this but I just can’t see it being something good long term.
Show me what other car has it in three words . Reliable, any fuel at pump and room like a suv ?
Great review guys! I have a question and it is a little abit off topic.....what is the difference between the touring package vs. Elite when it comes to the Honda Pilot 🤔?
Thanks! Not much, from what I can remember but we do have the 2021 video you could check out as well
@@CarConfections Okay, will checkout 2021 video. Thanks for the reply 🙂
honda should've changed the rear taillights
Exactly! It looks too cheap to be in a 2021 vehicle
I wished the same thing but I had a feeling they wouldn't (since the refreshed 2021 Odyssey kept the same tail lights, even the updated Civic)
this is refresh they’ll do it when they redesign the car
On the last-gen refresh, they at least changed the lenses of the rear taillights. They didn't even bother this time. I really wish they would make the entire lighting all-LED, seeing how the Camry XSE/XLE has had them since 2018.(but this is a better car overall though). I guess we should see a total redesign by 2023, the traditional 5 model year Accord cycle.
@@hellkitty1014 it's not a big deal. You still can't get memory seats in any CAMRY LOL
Man...I'd pay anything for a carbon fiber version of that beauty
Now that, would be epic
Love my Honda!
great video
Thanks!
Did they fix the Hood Flutter?
