Ducks are quite honestly one of my favourite wildlife photography subjects. I have literally thousands of photos of them! I remember years ago photographing some Mallards at my local park and somebody walked by and literally said "Hmm.. What are you taking pictures of those for? They're only ducks!" I won't repeat my response, but suffice it to say that he didn't stick around long!🤣🤣

Pintail, Gadwall, Teal, Mandarin and Gargany are probably my favourites but any duck in the right light is worth a shot ! Great challenge Andy 👍

Great video and advice Andy. I look forward to the challenge. Out tomorrow to one of my local lakes to see what I can get in the snow! (If the forecast is right!).

Great video Andy. Very helpful. I'll just have to make sure I don't get into trouble climbing out of the hide at my local nature reserve attempting a low angle shot.

Increasing exposure to bring out the detail in the whites?. Would seem to be the opposite I would have thought.

      Not what I actually said

Its just that it sounds wrong and at the very least you should have explained that it is not actually the detail in the whites you're bringing out. This is a tutorial video and beginners can be very easily mislead. It was one such mislead person that brought this apparent contradiction to my attention and I can understand why they were confused.
