It's a good demonstration, that you don't need to have freakishly elite genetics or use steroids to be a hero and inspiration to someone, especially to your own family. Nice touch and range of examples from mythos, to elites, to average people having in common strive for higher ideals, for some country, for some glory, for some family.

I wouldn’t even classify this as a meme. These videos actually lead me to now starting to work out, and heavily fixing my eating. I’ve tried to do the same in the past but always relapsed into my old unhealthy lifestyle, but not this time. It’s still my longest running streak that hopefully won’t end.
    3 month update:
I’ve lost almost 20 pounds, and have been going to the gym weekly!
    5 month update:
Hello again everyone. Been a couple months since my last update. Came back to say I lost a bit more weight (nothing too much since I am at a healthy weight once again already), and I still go to the gym weekly. When I initially started going to the gym I was going with a friend, and not only did going to the gym make me physically healthy, but it helped my relationships, and I’m now closer with this friend then I was before because of going to the gym with them. I don’t plan on ever stopping. Well, until next time kings.
    10 month update:
Hey everyone! Damn this comment blew up a bit. Figured I’d come and give another little life update on how things have changed over the last 5 months. First of all I started taking mental health seriously, and got support for problems of mine. Also I no longer go to the gym weekly. I typically go about 3 times a week nowadays. I’ve also started seeing someone now. This journey is far from over, it’s merely just began, but it hasn’t been a bad start. Bye again for now everyone.
    13 month update:
Hey guys. I’m honestly surprised people are still commenting on this, but since they are figured I’d come back. Sadly drifted apart from the person I was seeing (who cares though more time for gym 💪💪). It’s been I don’t even know how many years since my weight has been where it currently is. I’m literally not even overweight any more, forget fat. I don’t quite have abs fully yet but they’re starting to pop a bit (still crazy to see). I’m physically stronger to a point that was unimaginable to me a year ago. I do reps now with a weight higher than my old PR on bench press now lol. I’ve made more progress in my life in the last year than like all the years prior to that combined. A year ago I had horrible depression, and severe anxiety. At this point I can honestly say the depression is cured, I feel like I have a strong sense of purpose now. And the anxiety is so much better, due to me forcing myself out of my comfort zone whenever I get the chance nowadays. Even started a business lol.
Well kings that’s the jist of it for the most part. Listen though before I go again to anyone reading this, I obviously don’t know you, and I don’t know what your going through, but I need you to understand that truly where there’s a will there’s a way. I know you might not see right now how going to the gym/stepping out of your comfort zone, etc, is gonna help, and or solve whatever your dealing with in life right now, but I ask you this, what do you have to lose? Worst case scenario you’ll simply just get stronger. Until next time kings.

School is destructive because among other things, it makes kids consider the word “discipline” as something to be afraid of. It’s why they grow up to be the way they are now. this probably wont be seen but my dad and I went on a hiking trip yesterday. It was one of the physically hardest things we had ever experienced (im 13 and he is 46). we had to hike 4 mountains in 1 day, we walked almost 10 miles in 8 hours. The last mountain on the first day pushed us to our limit physically and mentally. We ate very little food. On the second day we ate nothing for breakfast and we just started to walk we had to go through multiple rivers, we forgot to pack sandals so we had to go through them barefoot until we had enough and we just wore our shoes through water some were even knee height. We ended up having enough and we found a road and we ending up walking it because we were so tired and it was flat. We made it to a area where we could sit down. We planned to walk back to the truck which would have taken 5 hours plus, we were both scared but thankfully we were able to hitchhike and the nicest guy in the world was able to take us most of the way an we only had to walk for 1 and a half hours for 4.5 miles. Had it not been for that man we could have maybe died out in the wilderness.

1:32 I like how you define masculinity not just as raw power but also protection. Could you please add a clip of a man saving a wild animal the next time?

I was a scrawny awkward nerd for so many years. 26 and now realizing what I want in life. Confidence and true happiness in myself. After going to the gym, I started feeling better about myself and noticed when I go to the clubs, I let the women come to me and not go to them. I will always be myself, but finding true potential is more satisfying than anything.

Legit one of the best videos I’ve seen lol😂 People claim “toxic masculinity”, but don’t realize that enabling a weak mindset encourages us to seek out hyper masculine things to motive us and make us better. The excess of 80’s metal and partying lifestyle lead to the rise of grunge. Trends come in waves.
