Thank you so much I was challenged by a customer to make a Steelers Candle for her boyfriend. This here has been the best video I have seen. How cold does it need to be??
Thank you so much for your kind words :) Can you clarify what you mean by "how cold does it need to be>?" Do you mean how cool does that wax need to be before you unmould it? Or Do you mean how cool does the wax need to be before you pour it into the mould? Do you mean how cool does the first pour wax need to be before you pour the second wax colour in?
You are welcome! I mostly buy them off of ebay but they can also be purchased from candle supply shops. Check where you buy your wax from and see if they have any :) Let me know if I can help with anything else
Until the wax is cool and hardened. It depends on how hot.or cold the weather is when you pour the candle. If you are in doubt, leave it overnight and unmould the next day. If you are just pouring the first layer of colour just let it harden and cool before you pour the second colour.
Candles can be unmoulded as soon as they are cool. When the wax is hardened and they are at room temperature. So the time depends on the climate you live in. As soon as they are cooled to room temperature you can unmould them and burn them. When they say you need to wait to burn your candles they usually mean soy container candles that need a bit of time to cure. Generally pillar candles aren't made with soy wax so you don't need to wait. Please let me know if you need any more help with anything! ♡ jes
I used candle dye in 2 separate jugs to dye the wax that I used to make the candles. I have other videos on my channel in my "candle making playlist" that will teach you how to do this :)
I’ve been doing candles for over a year now and I started with the mold now and I love it learning a lot from your videos

@@Candle_Making_With_Jes Thank you!
Did u use pillar wax?
Yes always. This is crystal palm wax that is a pillar wax :)
How long do u let it dry for?

For how long you keep candle in mold before burn? I’m bit confused about it as some says 24h, 48h other says even a week..

where are your molds from
I order mine off of ebay usually
Where did the color come from

Didn't say how long you let the first color sit before you addEd the next😊
Hi there, you leave it until it hardens and cools down. How long that will take depends on your climate. Hope that helps :)
