- I woke up grabbed my camera, and went to downtown Cagayan de Oro, to see what exactly a "Carnival Parade" is…
Wow was it ever an overload of happiness, colour, dancing and smiling! This video will not do the experience justice! I literally ran around like a kid in a candy store dancing, smiling, giving out apir's… How could I not be happy with the amazing attitudes, friendliness and happiness that people were throwing at me!! I even had some local kids use "Paypay's" to help cool me down after sweating through a shirt dancing!
When you combine the friendliness of the people here in Cagayan de Oro with a festival/parade… watch out! You are going to get overloaded with happiness and fun! If you come to the Festival next year I highly suggest you just run around the city during this parade! It is a freaking blast!!!
