My old stomping grounds! SFO is a beautiful airport to fly into, especially the approach from the north that shows you the whole Bay area from the north Golden Gate Bridge and the Oakland Bay Bridge down south past the San Mateo and Dumbarton bridges and then up across the water to the airport! This is a nice video, taken when the viz was excellent, before that afternoon fog rolls in like a freight train!! I used to fly out of HMB airport and used to drive over to a road beside SFO on a nice day and park, just to see them come in and land! I lived in the area for about 30 years and left about 20 years ago, when California started to go down the tubes! It is still beautiful to see from the air though!
@@donfredo8013 Im from California, but Texas is actually not terrible. Austin is just as liberal as SF, and is an incredible city. San Antonio is incredible too.
@@bassman87 Ever land on the dual runway when there's another aircraft landing the same time as you? That can be a little nerve-wracking. The leading edge of the wing next to you looks like it has maybe 20 feet of clearance.
@@bandfromtheband9445 I havent landed with the SOIA approach yet(That's what it's called when the planes land less than 750 feet apart). But I have taken off next to another aircraft. I was lucky enough to be in the trailing aircraft so i got to see them take off then break away after we both cleared the runway.
it was my first air journey from india to sfc. wonderful experience. well planeed city. but as a newcomer no friends to chat so depressed. so have to come back prior scheduled. and also bothered by cold. so i was not prepared for that. next time i would like to full prepared.
I've looked at that section 3 times and still don't see what you're talking about. I see some slight condensation coming out when they lower the flaps, but that's definitely not fuel. When they dump fuel you would see a shower coming out of that black nozzle. If they were dumping fuel at a thousand feet, there would be hell to pay!

Nice video!
Thank you so very much for the tour of the beautiful San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area.
Thanks very much for this video, because I was in San Francisco last year, since then I love to see the cities is California. Because I am from Texas😀
You´re from Texas? What a misfortune, I am sorry for you.

I love San Francisco but I cannot afford San Francisco. I live in Austin Texas and I’m quite happy visiting San Francisco.
See this great VIEW of SF Bay CA USA.... I went to enjoy it many times !
Nice to see some up-to-date views on our Downtown from high above!
Enjoy The View :-)
Jacek Zarzycki
Thanks
Jacek Zarzycki I love San Francisco but I can’t afford living in San Francisco. I live in Austin Texas and life is good here .
Ok?
Nice city, very open mind people, I would love to visit it again
Beautiful flight, and the baby didn't cry at all.
As much as I hate what Cal. / SF has turned into I still think San Francisco is the most beautiful city I have ever seen.
You must be deaf dumb and blind
Where did you live at in San Francisco?
I’m flying to San Francisco in july, and I have to fly all the from Amsterdam so I’m 12 hours in the plane, help😬
Thanks for the upload - it is a very strange experience you feel like you are going to ditch in the Ocean then tarmac appears .
^^actually just said tarmac
I live in the area and every time I fly home via SFO I jokingly say to whoever's with me that we are gonna hit the water.

Oh my god I haven't flew in almost 30 years in 45 now,I'm really scared to since.
Really?
I like the view of the bay
Wow
I just say 😲
Peaceful day and landing, who, what, where from, when ?
Maybe I missed it but where did the flight originate? Usually that's included in the notes.
It’s Thomas cook so I’m guessing England, even tho they are no longer in operation
RIP Thomas Cook
Nice
I love sanfrancisco nice kantri .
It's a city in the country of United States.
SFO Airport🇮🇩🇺🇸
Yet UA-cam wants to play it in 480p 🤦🏼♂️
If your internet speed is to slow its be played in lower resolution
Maybe in this who knows I would be in usa well good luck to those who enjoyed
Minute 3:04 where they releasing fuel or something?
Pablo Martínez it’s probably water from condensation in the fuel tank . Just a guess.
@@MrFlyboy1313 you're most likely correct. Fuel dumps are done at high altitude and it's a lot more noticable than what we see here.
