John C. McGinley had some of the best snarky lines and storylines, though he conveyed Cox's vulnerable moments perfectly, namely losing his best friend, and breaking down over the deaths of three patients.
I definitely agree, but I wonder one thing… What would John C. McGinley aka Dr. Perry Cox say when he found out that Hugh Jackman and his wife had split?! 😊
The common sense rants are made all the funnier bc they end up circling each other like sharks Also not a rant but just a great zinger … when Jordan interrupts his date : ‘shall I call you a taxi or just whistle to have the flying monkeys being your broom around?’
I was in one Navy ship's wardroom wherein the Ops boss was capable of similar humorous sarcasm. He would respond to incorrect assertions with a good imitation of the buzzer from the TV game show "Truth or Consequences" followed by a well formulated correction.
While Val Kilmer's Doc is my favorite movie role, John C. McGinley's role is by FAR my favorite in any show ever. Probably because I relate to him in soo many ways. The "Where do you think we are" gets me every time.
Ms. MOJO I wish you wouldn't talk during the clips, it is really distracting and annoying. I actually only watched about one minute before turning it off and finding another video. Peace

I still use "people are bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling" on a regular basis
Me n my friends do too 😂
Hugh Jackman is Wolverine...how dare he! 😂😂😂
John C McGinley was the perfect actor for this. There's no one I can imagine who could have done Dr Cox better.
I've never watched this show but after seeing several Top 10 clips, I've found a new binge watch. Thanks.
It's great through Season 5, maybe halfway through Season 6. The rest, I still watched, but they were just okay.
Highly recommend, I'm actually jealous, first watch is always the best. So many awesome characters.
Such a fun show. Skip the last season.
People still referencing scrubs, all my respect
I go EEEEEGGGGGLLLLEEEEE
Your respect is applicable
I make it my mission every day to refrance scrubs at least once
Thanks, Phoebe, this was a great top of a great series! Have a happy saturday morning and God bless you, greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Dr Cox explaining to Carla how each person at Sacred Hart is funny is comedic gold, and its a sin that it wasnt mentioned on this list
Where and what season is that from?
@@iamyoutoo1 Season 6 Episode 12 - "My Fishbowl"
The Hugh Jackman thing is John C. McGinley's real life anger and frustration with losing out on a major audition to Hugh Jackman
I even think it was for the role of wolverine. At least I remember reading this
I’ve always wondered why we haven’t seen more of this comedic genius
"Good morning reasons why I drink; you may have noticed that we have a new face in our group!"

Phoebe's narration was perfect. Dr Perry Cox is my favorite tv character of all time and John C Mcginley plays the role to perfection.
I wish ye just let him rant and just explain why afterwards
Dr. Cox is a jerk with a heart of gold.
I was in one Navy ship's wardroom wherein the Ops boss was capable of similar humorous sarcasm. He would respond to incorrect assertions with a good imitation of the buzzer from the TV game show "Truth or Consequences" followed by a well formulated correction.
Why does he hate Hugh Jackman so much?😂
Dr Cox was such good characters , i loved when he parodied Dr House.
Mine's the "man-eater" speech from early on in the series, either season one or early two. When he's being interviewed.
You guys left out his “Payback is a bitch!” moment.
I don't know about anyone else but my cheeks hurt from smoking nonstop. Love this show Way too much. Turk-N-Jd and JD.
7 is still my favorite, being a go to for special kinds of stupid.
What a great show, too bad Dr Molly Clock was only in a bunch of episodes.
Great show with great Dr Cox rants.
Only ruined by that annoying voice that keeps interrupting them..

Way too much commentary.
I wish you had given rhe enrire rant instead of cutting them off with commentary
i wonder what perry would say about the constant voice over...uh, phoebe?... anyone watching probably needs very little, if any set up.
Too much yakkity yak narration. Dr. Cox can speak for himself, he doesn't need interrupting with incessant descriptive commentary.
Ms. MOJO I wish you wouldn't talk during the clips, it is really distracting and annoying. I actually only watched about one minute before turning it off and finding another video. Peace
You talk too much during the clips, just let them play out please...
