Biggest chad in ffxv. I barely remember anything about the game or movie, but I remember Clarus, because he's just some dude, but when faced with the enemy's greatest champion and given the option to escape, he just goes into melee no questions asked.
For an armor this cool, I only wish they showcased more of its weight. See 1:55 and 5:19, they always make him do these soft ass landings. I want a landing like Inarius did in his fight scene in hell against Lilith. :(
I believe in Versus script Clarus, father of Gladiolus would betray Regis. In the trailers you could see the camera focused on him as he has a sinister smile and Regis is like I saw this coming
This movie had more universe building than the game, which it really shouldn't. This should be a companion piece not feel like the main thing. Nyx had more development with Luna than Noctis 🤨

The most messed up part of Glauca's murder of Regis is that Drautos was feeling every bit justified as he did so. Drautos (Glauca's Lucian identity) was one of the displaced refugees who felt xenophobia from the Lucians firsthand. And it was that xenophobia which led to him betraying the crown. He was serving a country that didn't respect him. Glauca's act of regicide didn't feel like betrayal, but justice being enacted.

Damn. This was never touched on in the game at all. Noctis didn't even run into him.
There was that one old photo of Cid with Regis at Hammerhead that also showed a bald guy with them but it wasn't made obvious that it was Clarus.

@@eatandrun8020if you look closely you can see it's got magitech in it. It's glows red and acts like a retro buster to negate his momentum
