looks great. I found your channel recently and RIGHT after I pulled the trigger on a Polyend Play. your making me jelly that I didn't get the Digi, but I can hold strong...without buying more gear...yes I can hold strong.
Hey Scoobysteve. Alright so it actually came down to Digitakt, Syntakt and Play+ for me and it really was a coin toss and you know what did it for me? The way everyone talks about the Digitakt and Syntakt is NOT the same as the way people were talking about the Play. They are ADORING this device vs the play and I wanted to find out why, and well, I got it and now I know. If you like sound design then it's for you. The layout is brilliant and it's a joy to use, and this is coming from a guy that has Polyend's Tracker, so I do like Polyend, but there's something about the Digitakt. So if I were you I would get the Digitakt, spend at least 2 months with it like I have, and sell which ever device you enjoy the least. I have a feeling you will be all about the Digitakt once you get comfortable with the workflow. Thanks for watching!
@@scoobysteve0 Thanks so there is a downside, you will take a hit on the resell market unless you buy used first. It can be tricky. I've lost quite a lot buying new and selling used haha.
@@baconbigbeats yep I can see how that would work. The "burn rate" for buying new. Luckily I am the guy who has no problem buying used. I don't mind dents, as long as the equipment works, It adds character. Have a great weekend!
Hey Eddie, I went ahead and added the link to the description of this video (thanks for reminding me). It's under "top down stand". Thanks for watching!
Cool skin. There’s a video out there of someone tossed a battery inside. It’s above my pay grade in terms of skill yet cool.

@@baconbigbeats that is amazing advice! Thank you, and I will do just that. Hopefully this helps others in the position as well. Try em both.
