I got my babycake cupcake maker for my birthday. Being 16 and love baking I wanted something smaller. We found mine on sale for $15.49 and it was the last one they had nearly had to fight for mine. It's a great kitchen item to have its very easy to use and I love it so much. I made chocolate chip muffins and beef empanadas. Very easy clean up. Wouldn't recommend it for smaller kids as of which they can hurt themselves while using the product. If it given to a child adults should still supervise
I got this as a gift for Christmas 2013 from my sister and have yet to use it! I think I will give it a try now. I bought my sister the mini donut maker. It was quite a fun Christmas surprise to see we both got each other a babycakes machine! lol :-)
Adrienne Turner You must know each other VERY well!! How is the donut maker? Does she like it? I've been thinking about buying one and doing a review on it.
Cookies Cupcakes and Cardio I just now remembered to come back and tell you about the donut maker! We really like it. I would prefer a donut that is a little thicker but they are mini donuts so I got what I expected. Fast, easy and pretty yummy. I need to try a cake donut recipe, might be a bit more dense. I made plain donuts then coated some in powdered sugar and others in a cinnamon sugar mix. I'd like to get the cake pop maker next.
I just got mine yesterday because Black Friday, and my birthday is coming up soon so my mom bought it for me. I havn't tried it out yet but I bet it will be fun!
I just bought this cupcake maker from Amazon. I did originally buy a Holstein brand but when I unboxed it cover of maker was broken in two pieces fell off and the rest of the top of maker was cracked. So I ordered Babycakes instead and received refund for the broken one. Amazon is very good about returns. So Babycakes it is and then love it. So fast and easy. So many recipes to try. I recommend this item.
my fiance came home with one of these for the baby but since it was from goodwill we didn't get any of the extras just the oven its super great to know that i dont need to use their recipes to make it thank you!! also can i make muffins in this?
Unless child has enough safety knowledge of hot stuff in the kitchen to use on their own. I fell in love with it. The pie cutter has a setter which is the thing that has a round dip on it and then the cutter which cuts the crust bottom and top out. The larger end makes the bottom crust and the smaller end makes the top crust.
My mom got this for my daughter but haven't used it yet but I will for sure now that I've seen how it's used. We didn't get liners either lol. Awesome channel BTW
Do you still have the babycake cupcake maker, i cannot find my pie cutter pieces and would love to find them, since you said you probably would not use it?
or the pie cutter but it did come with the liners but also to refill the liners u should get mini liners, i know with expeience and yours has more cupcake mold
hi! i live in Mexico city and i shop this machine but i dont have the book with the ingredients, do u can help me???? i wana do this chocolate cupcakes :)pleaseeee help meeeeeeee
It is recommended to "pre cure" this or any of these counter top baking devices utilizing nonstick surfaces with a vegetable oil or nonstick spray. If you choose a nonstick spray it's is ideal to use it after each cleaning. Unless you use paper or silicone cups each time. I still spray mine so any overflow or drips clean up easily. If you clean with a soap towel after each use, rather than wiping with a damp cloth, you'll need to use vegetable oil after each cleaning to "cure" the nonstick surfaces again. Additionally, for the first use, let the oil used in the manufacturing process together burn off. Then clean with mild soap and water on a cloth. No rinsing in the sink or under the tap. These appliances are not waterproof. After you've washed the appliance out, use oil to cure it. Then bake one or two throw away batches. They bake to your heart content remembering to "recure" the teflon from time to time. Some of the appliances state to let cool after 40-50 minutes of baking. Not doing so could void any warranty the appliance has. Be sure to read the instructions and as always register your appliance for trouble free warranty claims. It so easy now. Simply do it online. No more pesky postcards to fill out and hope they receive and process. Happy baking ya'll. Cheers from Seattle.
Cookies Cupcakes and Cardio hi! Does the texture any different from the ones you normally bake in a conventional oven? I'm planning to buy one to save me time this coming father's day, I sure need to make tons for family and friends ;) Btw, my husband doesn't like frosting at all, I'm sure by the looks of it the chocolate cupcakes tastes good on its own. Thanks! :)
I have a baby cakes cupcake maker and all you have to do with the pie is make your dough and cut the dough so it fits in one of the cups. Leave it bake for as long as the cupcakes need to bake. Walla! You have a mini pie.
Can you do a waffle maker review please!!! I really want to buy one for about 40-30$ and I am not sure which brand is good.... What would you recomand?
what I think about the babycakes cupcake maker is that, if you don't use the cupcake liners, you have ruined your machine. mine has a round groove in the bottom of each cupcake well. and it say's you don't have to use the liner's, well take it from me. you do have to use liners. mine is in terrible condition now, I let it cool and tried wiping it with paper towel, it would not come off so I used a cloth with just water, no luck. so I guess it's just my waste of money. but the cupcakes I made first with the liners did come out perfect.
I just got one used and I used your video to figure out how to use it Iam exicited to try it
I just bought one used, 2$ - how's it going, do you like it? good video...:)
I got one for 5.00 at the Hospice store and had no idea how long to cook them for or the liner situation. Thank you for the help!!
I'm glad you like yours too...it can come in so handy! Sounds like the packagers are putting different stuff in the boxes.
Thanks! Glad you liked the video.
i have just received one for Christmas, i cant wait to try it. thanks for sharing.

Hi, thanks for the video :) what would happen if you use the regular sized cupcake wrappers??
Enjoyed the video thx for posting. I ordered one of these today.
The cupcakes seem kind of short in height compared to cupcakes cooked in a muffin tin, any thoughts?

"I'm not the pie lady"
Well, of course not. It's not called "Cookies, Cupcakes, PIES and Cardio" ;)
Mine came with the cupcake liners.

Looks cute, but it looks like a lot of frosting compared to the amount of cake x
I think it would be easier and faster to just pop them in the oven. Lovely video though. Thank you.
I have the bigger cupcake maker but never use liners.
i have one itz cool my color on the outside is yellow
Isn't that a pie maker?
