Great job getting sponsored by Sega. Metaphor is the game the persona staff was working on. Now they are diving full into developing persona 6. I like to treat Metaphor as a sneak peak into persona 6.
Giving tips to your opp while mauling them reminds me of how my dad used to try to help me with my math homework while yelling at me and smacking me on my head. LMAO.
I love how Justin has tips for everyone, no matter the skill level. From how to do infinites, to simply commanding a new player to use assists. Though it truly is amazing how much assists matter in this game. For average play, they really are a large chunk of your damage output.
Imagine picking up the game, labbing it out and practicing. You feel confident so you jump online and your first match is getting mauled by THE 20+ year MvC vet. Feelsbadman
nah labbing is pointless if u playing it for the first time. it should be back then like on ps2, where you had to grind through the campaign a few times to unlock every character. or only let players unlock ranked after getting through the campaign like 10 times. but then there's good and bad as having online multiplayer locked behind campaigns would cause the online playerbase to suffer. but then they would quit anyway if they just hop into online and get thrashed.
The trick to beating that team is to always block high. Take the low hit from wolverine and roll. You get out of trouble that way instead of fighting trying to block both and panicking. Nobody rolled once lol
Corridor into Sword. Corridor into Sword! CORRIDOR INTO SWORD! That had me WEAK! Justin giving out Strats while beating ass! A very Justin “on the spot” thing to do! 🤣🤣🤣
The matchmaking is crazy. "Let's see... it's this guy's first or second ever match... you know what, I think he's ready to face THE GOATED WORLD CHAMP"
Thanks Justin for the lessons on how to use your assists. I totally related because even though I love games like FighterZ and Skullgirls, I've never learned how to play with assists, I always play the classic way. I'll continue to follow these lessons from now on🙏
Her: Honey what you up to? Me: Watching Justin beat the shit outta kids who weren't old enough to see him beat grown men in Chinatown almost 25 years ago. Her: Great!
MvC2 seems to be the assistiest games of all assist games, Commando being so prevalent shows that, a character so bad is top tier just because their assist is so good
Omg justin giving tips for the opponent, thats what i always do too in casual games to get them to win more because it's better to have more players around you with higher skill levels. Love it
So I slowed a few of those Mag/Wolvie unblockables down to .25 speed, definitely some interesting stuff going on. There are a few instances where it seems like the game is trying to decide if Justin's opponent actually got hit or not, and you could see them lose life, but then a split second later they would regain their life back (but then they usually got hit again anyway, lol). Is this something common in online gaming?
Juggy punch assist Captain Commando anti air Blackheart anti air My favorite team... All wearing black. Midnight black for Blackheart. Juggy and mummy commando have a combo attack that can lead to a ton of other combos.
In principle would this work with any character doing a jump in overhead with wolverine assist? Or does this only really work because of magnetos fast overhead? I wanna try to run a team like this but swap magneto for storm just for a classic xmen team feel.
Yeah... having to deal with 50/50 situations... and now moments where no matter where you block, your guard is going to be useless as you can't block up+middle and down at the same time making you pass a bad time if you don't find a way to make a comeback after the punish.
I used Boneclaw Wolverine assist type as a claw slide with Megaman and Ryu. When I see you use Magneto with Boneclaw Wolverine assist, it's almost an instant hit on both standing and turtle. So I am working on that and practicing against some characters like Sentinel, Cable, and the likes of giant and medium sized characters.
If I had to pick which team I thought was most broken up to this point, I'd say Iron Man, War Machine Cable. Once the person has their iron machine infinite combos down, they can piss off the competition with 1p games. General Thrillah anyone?
I find it interesting how comboes are so short in this game. I feel like it has something to do with how much the game wants to encourage you to use assists.
So really it's really just wolverine that has the low assist. It doesn't have to be magneto on point. Sentinel on point would work. A stomping over head while flying is much worse than Magneto's light kick into an infinite that you can drop on smaller characters.
playing magneto and sentinel is like literally playing another game lmao I never picked sentinel and almost had theost epic comeback the other day and don't even know the buttons lmao

The Wazzler teaching new players how to marvel should be called Wazzler's Wisdom
Agreed
Wazdom

Jeez. I hope you learned math well, then. 😅 I hated math growing up
@@Longshot3181 LOL, I learned math better on my own for sure!
As an Asian I can relate, wonder if it's a dad thing or just plain asian...
@@sofrencia8403 I think it's a minority thing. I've heard of Mexican parents doing the same thing.
Damn, PTSD and Nostalgia at the same time lol
Teaching your opponent as you play them ....that is very nice of you my brotha
Wait, why is the matchmaking putting an absolute rookie against a Super Diamond player? That seems like something that would actually cause refunds.
That’s quite a common thing since the 30th anniversary.
I think they pin you against whoever is online.
That’s how it was at the arcade
@@tfs2388 true to the arcade feeling. You will fight whoever is there~
@@tfs2388difference between this and the arcade is one was 25 cents and the other is 50 bucks

Shoutout to rivers, learning as they play is crazy you saw visible improvements there I love that
This video is the equivalent to Wong being a grand master and teaching hard lessons to a pupil mid spar. Good work.

At 17:20 mark that guy was like stop…stooooop…he’s already dead 😆
I liked how Justin took a break from trolling to actually teach some fundamentals. Justin looking out for the new generation, nice.
The trick to beating that team is to always block high. Take the low hit from wolverine and roll. You get out of trouble that way instead of fighting trying to block both and panicking. Nobody rolled once lol
At 4:30 commando rolled lol
Anyone who takes time to teach you how to fight WHILE he's fighting you is a menace and I'm here for it.
Justin outclassing 3 characters with Cyclops is always such a good show. Lol
17:16 One thing is causing refunds, but this is therapy worthy 😂that’s too much.
Just call your assist!
Proceeds to happy birthday the poor guy
I really wanna see Justin use his previous opponents team to beat his next opponent, just to see the possibilities.
Theres never been a player this dominant in any fighting game. Literally the goat of mvc2. Love to see it

Still trying to learn mvc2 over here: is it unblockable cuz magneto does a quick overhead and wolverine does a low simultaneously?
Pretty much yeah. Its a gimmick but a fun one for a character thats kinda bad otherwise
Justin teaching Rivers how to play Marvel is hilarious. It's like watching Batman's contingency plan for himself.
This game was a bullying session 17:09
People pick your teams online all the time, but they can't see the instant overheads and the tech you do. Thank you for supporting this game!
That shit ain't even a 50/50
Issa 25/75 cause u are not blocking that mix
When you think you’ve beat Magneto, here comes Sonic Wolverine

Getting your &$# beat to smooth jazz must be infuriating.
"Just call your assist, that's all you need to do" immediately happy birthdays him
Wolverine @ 17:46 was comic book accurate. Jumps in tanks some damage and goes to work. 😂 Then he played saviour for Cyclops. X-Men level gameplay.
THE WAZZLER STRIKES AGAIN
Omg justin giving tips for the opponent, thats what i always do too in casual games to get them to win more because it's better to have more players around you with higher skill levels. Love it

You just found the greatest 7 point team possible if you swap out Rogue for Magneto and you can call it team x men.
Wolverine gains a tier, and a infinite and now becomes a unblock able assist lol
Using the rouge space stage music from Sonic Adventure 2 in the intro. The editor got good taste
Love seeing more Wolverine in Marvel 2.
Metaphor: ReFantazio slaps! I'm glad you got to play it! :)
Oh, yeah... mandatory "IT'S MAHVEL, BAYBEE!" comment

Okay Justin Wong I hear Mad Space from Sonic Adventure 2 in the beginning. Nice touch
I love Justing giving tips on how to play the game while beating the crap out of his opponent.
10:25 sick pose if you pause it. kinda like a spiderman pose on wolverine.
Justin’s shit talk is so good. 😂
at this point Justin should be the final boss in the Marvel v Capcom 2 game lol
Magneto's Hyper Gravitation can also be good assist for wolverine and close combat characters.
The world needs a Justin Wong MvC2 tutorial
What other characters can benefit from having Bonerine assist?
Sentinel
In principle would this work with any character doing a jump in overhead with wolverine assist? Or does this only really work because of magnetos fast overhead? I wanna try to run a team like this but swap magneto for storm just for a classic xmen team feel.
I'm thinking Spiderman's jump HK might be good with this too
Team X-Men 97.
Justin's godlike, but his Magneto kinda lookin' like he's playing Juggernaut with this speed.

yo i cant 😂 justin youre the best mvc 2 entertainer bro lol love this content
Ah yes, the simultaneous overhead+low strike, where no matter what you do, you can't block both.
In chess, we call that a checkmate.

18:50 - Justin is so bully that it made you root for a random beginner guy desperate to win a single round..
Mr. Wazzler is having a wazzler of a time wazzling folks.
I honestly, for a second thought, Justin was gonna say, it's not about winning. It's about sending a message.
What a title considering all the MvC2 content Justin has been pumping out.
