As soon as I heard “omg omg omg,” I knew we were in good hands. Then they showed Samuel L. Jackson and the Khans. Even if the writing isn’t great, it’s 90+ minutes with Iman Vellani.

Remember when those morons complained that Brie didn’t “smile enough” in the first movie? Then this trailer opens with the Beastie Boys lyrics “Well, now, don’t you tell me to smile”. Gotta love it.

This teaser raised my hype from no expectations to "hyped". Can't wait to see more. It's nice to have a movie that looks like a fun movie about relations between superheroes (what made comics great) and not another "Save the world/multiverse, bigger than everything" movie.
agreed, I was just hoping for a passable movie, something to move the universe along without being bad, but this trailer makes it look fun. I already liked all the characters, but originally it felt like it was going to be a camel, an animal designed by a committee, it is already looking better than that.
Yeah hopefully it doesn't turn out to be that. What a low bar to clear!
I think adding the Miss Marvel show vibe is really helping
monica rambeau’s powers look absolutely stunning. i hope they can show off the full range of what she can do. she’s one of the most powerful characters in the marvel universe, no joke.
Carol has a few fun moments even in the first movie. When she's escaping in the beginning she growls back at one of her captors.
Overly serious and overly excited are a good dynamic. Monica probably balances them out.
Carol has the most fun when she’s fighting. Her combat sequence with the lunchbox decoy was cool, too. Excited to see what she can do while babysitting Kamala 😂

I'm sure the movie won't feature them much after the first half/third of the movie, but I'm so happy to see more of the Khan family
You never know but the fact that they made sure to include them at all just shows where their priorites are.and for me they've never lost that. Seeing a hero's supporting cast be involved in these big events to some degree is as fun as just the leads teamming up.
This is my favorite superhero trailer on a while. Color me hyped.
Iman Vellani is to be protected AT ALL COSTS. She was amazing in her show and I can't wait to see her interact with Carol and Fury and just fangirl all over them. ONE OF US

I just want to point out that I literally watched the last episode of Ms. Marvel a couple of days ago, so this is an amazing coincidence for me specifically. (if people knew this trailer was dropping soon, I was not one of them)

I’m legit excited for this film. Though I gotta say: people aren’t giving Ms. Marvel enough credit. This movie won’t make a lot of sense without watching her show beforehand. She’s gonna play a key role in the MCU. Not to mention that her comedy is definitely something we need. Though I can’t help but imagine what Nick’s thinking. First he (with help from Talos) worked with Spider-Man, and now he’s stuck helping Carol and Monica mentor Kamala. Hopefully others give it a go before the film arrives in November.
I wonder how much he remembers working with Spider-Man, though....

I think the people who didn't give Ms Marvel a chance are going to see why Iman Vellani is perfect as Kamala Khan and hopefully go back and check out the series

I'm so happy we got your reaction so quickly, I was worried you wouldn't have much time while in London 😁 This teaser got me from "Oh, I'm regular level hyped 'cause it's a Marvel movie" to "Omg, I'm actually really hyped for this specifically!", it looks like it's going to be a blast 😁
The thing Monica was looking at was the jumpgate in Earth orbit. Interstellar travel is mostly done though (semi) fixed jump points which is why the Skrulls in Captain Marvel were so set on finding an alternate form of FTL travel. They wanted to find a world away from a jump point so they could live in peace.
The “wall” they were looking at in the beginning of the trailer was the edge of a jump point like on Guardians of the Galaxy. If you go back and watch it again you can hear Nick Fury asks Capt. Rambeau what the hell are you doing and Monica Rambeau says I’m entering the jump point perimeter.
I will say, the purple letters at the marvel studios made me remember Agatha - like maybe we'll get 'its been agatha all along' thing sorta. I mean, as far as we know, she was still under Wandas control - when she was behind everything in the hex, so now that Wandas calm-downed/died/went somewhere, It would be cool to know if she's out and about now - being (as far as we know) the second most powerful witch in the mcu
I think the villain lady is Zawe Ashton! Also now Mrs Tom Hiddleston. She looks badass!

"Our powers are entangled..." As in Quantum entanglement? This indirectly tied to Kang somehow? should be interesting to see.
I think it's a jump gate that Monica is investigating at the beginning, as the camera first start moving closer to the space station it starts opening up to the right of the station. Also considering the lyrics of "Intergalactic" I think the song choice was kind of a slap back at the reviewers of the Captain Marvel movie that complained about her not smiling.
Carol is armed with Ronan the Accuser's Hammer.
I really liked this trailer. I thought that it was really fun. I am very curious to learn more about the story. I’m also curious about if this takes place before or after Secret Invasion, I’m learning more towards before. And I like that we’re getting to check back in on all these characters. And from just some of these clips alone I already love the chemistry and dynamics between Kamala, Carol and Monica.

I had a theory a while ago that Miss Marvels wristband was some version of the Nega-Bands or at least one of that might explain the entanglement, Quantum Entanglement for Quantum Bands. Maybe Quasar in the future?

NGL when I first saw that scene where all three of the Marvels are fighting (practicing?) I thought Brie was Daisy Johnson. That's Daisy's AoS Season 7 look! I got hopeful for a sec there😭😂

In the comics. There were these things called Nega Bands. Rick Jones, a recurring Marvel character would use them and change places with Mar-Vell. It seems they're borrowing from that.

I'm a big Ms. Marvel fan from the comics and really enjoyed the D+ show. This trailer definitely got me even more hyped for the movie

She was fantastic in Ms Marvel, very charasmatic charming and funny. Hopefully she can hold her own against Samuel Jackson and Larson.

I do enjoy that this film doesn't seem to be a "the multiverse is gonna be destroyed!" stakes thing. I like the interaction bits we got with Carol, Kamala and Monica and think this is gonna be a fun time.
Second in the trailer is someone holding a weapon like Ronan (probably Ronan daughter or someone in Ronan family) and on her right arm is the second bracelet like of Kamala Kahn's

And still, it was about an original character introduced to MCU via a tv show on D+, like Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Monica Rambeau, Kate Bishop, probably the new Falcon. Although I must say that we already had tv show characters in movies. Valentina Allegra de Fontaine was in both Black Widow and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. And Mobius was in post credit scene in Quantumania
In the fight scene, did you notice the villain was wearing a bracelet like Kamala's and carrying Ronin's staff? 😁 This is going to be so much fun!!! And all the baby Flerkens...Squeeeee!!!!
The person they are fighting at the end is the woman they show when Aaron is saying "Look at the cats!". And now that I'm looking at it....doesn't that weapon she is holding look a bit like Ronin's? Also....lots of blue faces under those helmets.
The villain has the other bangle! Watch the shot with her walking with Ronan 's hammer and during the fight.
The thing that surprised me the most was that Kamala knew who Nick Fury is. I didn’t know that normal, civilian people knew of him lol

The thing Monica was touching she called a Jump Point. And it looked incredibly similar to the interstellar travel portal things from Guardians and Thor 3. Those geometric portal like things that let them travel all over. I wonder if something I'm Guardians 3 or Secret Invasion makes the portal permanent over earth

yeah. But I think it has something to do with her mom being gone while Monica was blipped. Probably Monica was disappointed with Carol.. Idk that's just my guess.

The A V and S are all the three individual Marvels icons, just the V is very subtle and most overlook it
At least it makes sense why these three are teaming up. My only gripe is that this would have been the perfect time to introduce Rogue and have her play the main villain where Carol ends up in the Deep South, comes across Rogue who absorbs Carols powers and nearly kills her. So when Carol recovers, she has to go find Rambo for help and in turn they go to Kamala when realizing Kamala may very well be the same as Rogue (since she's a mutant).
This one looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun!

I'm glad this looks better than the first Captain Marvel film. She was always in my top 3 Marvel characters along with Spiderman and Slapstick. Which reminds me, I think a Awesome Slapstick movie could bring some life back into these films. he's so goofy it'd work.

i'm guessing what Monica's touching is the jump gate close to Earth, the piece of infrastructure that interstellar civilizations use to travel (seen most often in the Guardians movies). Earth scientists are probably very curious as to how it works.
I know this wasn't intentional, but I love that Nick Fury's space station is called SABER, after he played Mace Windu.

After watching the trailer This movie may very well be one of the most important films of the last 100,000 years if not thee most important.
I believe Monica was investigating a jump point, like we saw in GotG 2, but it seems to have something wrong with it. Perhaps the wormhole/teleportation nature of the jump point is what causes the swapping

For the thing Rambo touches she says something about "jump point perimeter" in GOTG don't they use something simillar looking to "jump" the ship long distances. I assumed they are built "gates" for ftl launch points.
Glad to see Captain Marvel again. She works great bouncing off other characters and she hasn’t had her chance to shine in the MCU yet really.

Been on almost every reaction sayin the same thing 😂😂😂. So I’ll say this. I hope it’s good cuz it looks fun
Looks like it will be a fun movie.. and I guess maybe just the marvel fans favor the more comedic side of things? But I really like the movies more where they are more serious but just have a dash of comedy thrown in. This seems like it is almost a comedy that happens to be in the MCU. No clue if I'm in the minority or not, but always felt like movies like winter soldier, iron man, and avengers were the best of the movies. Pretty serious movies but with some comedic pieces thrown in.
You know I'm getting really tired of the comedy complaint especially after all the complaints for Guardians 3 of "well now it's too dark, it does'nt feel like Guardians" Yes it is not good to lean too much into a light tone, however, it is also a problem to lean too dark as well. If you go too dark you have a story that's charachters mopeing and angsting for most of the run which can make it really hard for someone to connect with them since you don't see what their like outside of that which was the problem for ALL of Zack Snyder's dc movies. Dark does not mean mature infact in can be quite immature to think that a charachter can only be taken seriously when their edgy and angsty 24/7.
The three movies you just mentioned are some of Marvel's best yes, but because they strike the perfect balance between a dark tone AND a light one. Seeing charachters laugh, have fun, or bond with each other helps you care about them and will make the serious stuff hit much harder. The best stories are ones that know how to strike that balance flawlessly. Because they have the maturity to let a charachter breathe and just be a charachter first.
As for The Marvels there is nothing wrong with having a movie that just wants to have fun especially when we have TWO more serious marvel projects this year. One is out and the other is on the way, however your also forgetting that Monica has beef with Carol and that's not likely to be sweapt under the rug.

But just to infuriate you even more, even MY LITTLE PONY handled using dark tones and serious moments more effectively than any of the snyder dc movies COMBINED. And hero vs hero fights for anime curbstomp Batman V superman into the ground. Hell even power rangers did it more effectively.
