When you think about it it's a really good test, it also allows people to know and see where they stand in terms of grammar, and it helps them understand the meaning between different times, I was able to get 13/15

15/15! As an Italian who speaks the *mario* language, I feel proud of myself for answering all of this correctly. I learnt English just by playing videogames with English dialogues and English subtitles. I started with simple games like Minecraft story mode and then, slowly, I moved on bigger and more complicated games like the walking dead (from Telltale), GTA5, red dead redemption 2, watch dogs. You never stop learning 😁

I don't think schools teach sentence structure like they did when I was in elementary/primary school. 40+ years ago we had to break down given sentences and graph them to show the relationship between all the words. The basic structure would come out looking like a type of circuit diagram. It wasn't fun at the time. I now understand and appreciate the exercise for what it was. We really learned how to read/write and speak English better through those exercises. It definitely helped with proper grammar.

As an Italian who speaks the *mario* language, I feel proud of myself for answering all of this correctly. I learnt English just by playing videogames with English dialogues and English subtitles. I started with simple games like Minecraft story mode and then, slowly, I moved on bigger and more complicated games like the walking dead (from Telltale), GTA5, red dead redemption 2, watch dogs. You never stop learning 😁

I don't think schools teach sentence structure like they did when I was in elementary/primary school. 40+ years ago we had to break down given sentences and graph them to show the relationship between all the words. The basic structure would come out looking like a type of circuit diagram. It wasn't fun at the time. I now understand and appreciate the exercise for what it was. We really learned how to read/write and speak English better through those exercises. It definitely helped with proper grammar.
Wow I had none of that and my grammar is impeccable, pretty much to the point where I correct most teachers on their grammar
